The Chaparrals battled for all 9 innings in a comeback victory that wasn't meant to be.

Eau Claire wasn't going home without a victory as the Cavs pushed back and scored 3 of their own to make it 10-9 going into the bottom of the 9th.

The Chaps had one final chance with Luke Wirtz on 2nd with 2 outs but Ethan Kjellberg shuts the door and earns the save for Eau Claire.

Nathan Krommenakker and Will Lee with 2 RBIs, Wirtz had 3. Lee hit 2 doubles; Wirtz, Boushak, Caleb Krommenakker, and Nathan Krommenakker also had doubles in the game. Preston Wagner pitched 2 outstanding innings striking out 3, leaving 3 on base, and allowed 0 runs.
