On Tuesday February 18th, 2025 the KYAA Board of Director's unanimously accepted the Optimist Club of Kutztown's generous donation to continue to run the Quickball program. KYAA run's this program during the Spring Season for boys and girls ages 4 to 6 years old. The program is geared to teach basic fundamentals of baseball and softball all while having fun on the field. This helps the young athletes fall in love with the sport and continue to grow as baseball and softball players.
With this donation KYAA will be able to replenish supplies for the quickball program and provide every child who participates in the program a free T-Shirt and hat.
The Optimist Club has supported the Quickball program for many years and has positively impacted thousands of children in the Kutztown Community. KYAA thanks the Optimist Club for their continuous support and can't wait to see these young athletes thriving this Spring Season!
