18U Brunswick Bat Cage Tryouts
Is looking for approx 4 players to round out their roster. The goal is to play a competitive schedule, showcase tournaments and provide players a chance to get college exposure. Who: Dave Schmotzer – Head Baseball Coach, Coker College, SC
This letter and attachment contains important information regarding your Teams baseball program and student athletes. Because of your important positions as Baseball Coaches, most of you are aware of the rules and regulations your players need as they prepare to play baseball in college. We wanted to make you aware of this seminar that can be used as a refresher course in helping your players obtain their goal of playing college baseball.
In the past four years, all of the players and parents have learned a great deal of information and truth regarding college baseball. Coach Schmotzer states: "If a player wants to play college baseball, then there is a college where he could play". Finding the right school, knowing when to apply to maximize financial aid, academics, what coaches look for in student athletes and the new NCAA rules are just a few topics he will cover.
He brings handouts along with the NCAA guide for college bound student athletes. We would love to see you here, but if you can not make it, please take this time to tell your players and their parents about this unique opportunity.
