Chaloner Middle School Girls Top Gaston Middle 28–14

The Chaloner Middle School girls’ basketball team earned a solid victory over Gaston Middle, defeating their opponents 28–14 in recent action. Chaloner took control early in the game, using strong defense and steady scoring to build a lead they maintained throughout the contest.

Chaloner’s defensive effort limited Gaston’s scoring opportunities, forcing turnovers and keeping pressure on the ball. On offense, Chaloner moved the ball well and capitalized on open looks, gradually extending their advantage.

Gaston Middle continued to compete and showed determination despite the score, but Chaloner’s balanced team effort proved to be the difference. The win marks another positive step for Chaloner Middle as the season continues.

 

Warren County Cruises Past Conway Middle in Boys’ Basketball Action

Warren County’s middle school boys’ basketball team delivered a dominant performance against Conway Middle, earning a convincing 49–10 victory. From the opening tip, Warren County set the pace with strong defense and consistent scoring, limiting Conway Middle’s offensive opportunities throughout the game.

The Warriors built an early lead and continued to extend it with balanced play on both ends of the floor. Their defensive pressure forced turnovers and led to fast-break points, while the offense moved the ball effectively to create high-percentage shots.

 

Despite the loss, Conway Middle showed determination and continued to compete until the final buzzer. Warren County’s decisive win highlights the team’s preparation and teamwork as they move forward in the season.
