What is SABL?
SABL stands for Spencerville Adventist Baseball League. SABL is an organization of volunteers that is devoted to teaching the game of baseball to children that range from 5 to 15 years of age. The organization's utmost goal is to promote a christian environment that nurtures a child's desire to learn the game of baseball. The organization is sponsored by the Spencerville Seventh-day Adventist Church as well as parents and local businesses.
Our philosphy is to teach the children how to play the game of baseball while also promoting team work and sportsmanship. We also strongly encourage the children's parents to become involved with their child's team so as to enhance their child's experience with the game.
Parents - Just a Reminder
Please remember that your child must wear their league shirt and hat and long pants in order to play. Any child that is not wearing their league shirt and hat and long pants will not be allowed to play. Also all players must have their shirts tucked in and hats on correctly. We know that these are little things but it teaches respect for the league and also for the game.
