San Jose Frogs Join the PDL!

November 30, 2006
Yesterday the PDL offiicially announced the San Jose Frogs have joined the PDL!  The Seals are happy to see the Frogs join the PDL, and look forward to being able to play each other in the 2007 season.  The Frogs played in the NPSL (National Premier Soccer League) in 2006, which was their founding year.

"Many fans asked us when we were going to play each other," commented Paul Sheirich, the Seals Director of Marketing and Sales. "It was unfortunate that we were unable to make that happen."   But that won't be a problem in 2007.  Paul and Hartmut Esslinger, owner of the Frogs,  have already had discussions regarding the matchup for this season, and they hope to bring some excitement and fun to the fans over the pending games.

Also joining the Seals in the Southwestern Division of the PDL for the 2007 season are the Ventura County Fusion, and the Lancaster Rattlers.  This year also sees the California Gold and San Diego Gauchos closing their doors on the PDL.
