Seals Continue to Support Adult Soccer

July 2, 2008

Part of the Seals mission is to promote soccer throughout the Bay Area, and to work with adult teams and clubs to better promote the game.

We are pleased to announce a partnership with the San Francisco Soccer Football League (SFSFL).  The SFSFL teams are located throughout Northern California.  Games are primarily played in San Francisco at the Polo Fields and Beach Chalet in Golden Gate Park, Crocker-Amazon Grounds, and Boxer Stadium (formerly Balboa Stadium), but fields are also located in Hayward, Portola Valley, San Jose, Pleasanton and Santa Rosa.

The SFSFL season runs from March until November each year. There is a mid-season break usually from mid June to late July. Games are played on Saturdays and Sundays in the mornings and afternoons.

As part of this partnership the Seals will donate a portion of all ticket sales purchased through the SFSFL website to the league.  Look for other events with the SFSFL as well.

The Seals also promote adult women's soccer.  Read about the Golden Gate Women's Soccer League . . .
