Former Seals McDonald Signs with Quakes

Former San Francisco Seals, and San Jose Frogs player Brandon McDonald was signed to the San Jose Earthquakes developmental squad this past week.  McDonald came to the Seals in the 2006 season while playing for the University of San Francisco where he had started 13 games for the Dons before having his season ended after suffering an off-field injury.

McDonald started 5 games for the Seals in the 2006 season, including the season opener against the California Gold.  He had one assist for the Seals.  In 2007 he played for the San Jose Frogs in 10 games, scoring one goal. 

In 2008, McDonald was drafted 48th overall by the Los Angeles Galaxy, and earned several starts.
