Seals Filling Summer Rosters

The San Francisco Seals Summer Program is well underway.  Of the 50 spots available in the Seals Summer program, there approximately 10 spots remaining.

Five players are on the pro pathway.  Twenty-eight will play or are playing with college teams.  Six are high school juniors. The list below is the most complete list, though some names are not finalized. 

This program is about the player, not the competition.  Our goal is to prepare players for their personal agendas.  The program has four areas of focus:

1.  On the ball training
2.  Strength and Conditioning
3.  Competition
4.  Didactic sessions on effective communication and tactical comprehension

Here is the schedule for the next 10 days:
  • Monday:  On the ball - 2hours
  • Tuesday:  testing aerobic and anerobic status.  Anerobic, aerobic and plyometric work.
  • Wednesday:  On the ball - 2 hours
  • Thursday:  testing aerobic and anerobic status.  Anerobic, aerobic and plyometric work.
  • Friday:  On the Ball - 2 hours
  • Saturday:  Strength and Conditioning (2 hours); Futsal (2 hours)
  • Sunday:  practice game
  • Monday:  testing aerobic and anerobic status.  Anerobic, aerobic and plyometric work.
  • Tuesday:  On the Ball - 2 hours
  • Wednesday:  Game at Stanford
Note:  Games start the following week and will average 2 games per week.
