BlueClaws Put Last Season Behind Them
April 5, 2008 The BlueClaws showed up to play in their second game of the season. Ian started the game off with a walk and Garrett followed it up with a blast on to the hill in left for a triple. The Claws didn't look back after that. Matt and Ian turned in superb pitching performances and Adam was able to close out the game. Every Claw contributed to the win today. The Superstars gave us a good battle, but the new and improved BlueClaws showed they are a force to be reckoned with. Go Claws!

    2008 Season Set to Begin
The BlueClaws 2008 season is set to begin on March 29, 2008 at Big Rec Field in beautiful Golden Gate Park. The Claws hope to improve upon a disappointing 2007 campaign and have added six clawsome new players. The new additions are Travis Hayden, Garrett Mann, Matt Mercier, George Morris, Adam Scofield, and Jason Yonehiro. Matt, Adam, and Jason will greatly improve our pitching staff from last year. Garrett adds a ton of pop to our lineup and George and Travis will bring versatility to the field. The Claws also lost some quality teammates from last year. We wish them well and will drink a beer or two for them. All in all, the BlueClaws look to be a much improved team and plan to make a run for the Bay East Division Championship and more. Watch out Grays and Mad Dogs, we are coming for you!
