CHEER FUNDAMENTALS & TECHNIQUE

5 week academy focusing on cheer fundamentals and technique.  This group will learn a middle performance and have a local, public performance at the end of the session.

First academy Tuesday 3/12/2019.

2 practices per week- TUESDAYS 5-6:30 PM & SUNDAYS 2-3:30PM at the SF PLACE MALL.

Local performance at end of session.

$50 registration fee includes participant insurance coverage on our group policy, as required, tshirt and bow.

The annual Hoops 4 Hope game benefits the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Patient Care Fund, which is an assistance fund available to ALL New Mexicans in need of help as they battle cancer. Since 2000, the New Mexico state legislature has put aside politics to play basketball during the final days of the legislative session. Instead of dividing along party lines, the legislature divides into the House of Representatives “Aggies” and the Senate “Lobos” for a competitive basketball game. In 2004, our lawmakers decided to use the game to raise money in honor of Representative Ray Ruiz, who died of lung cancer that year.

This is a fun game which benefits an incredible cause! Let's get our youth involved and cheer our legislators on from the sidelines and from the stands! Register online today!

1 performance date ONLY! Hoops 4 Hope game is Wedesday, March 6, 2019 with a 7pm tip-off time. Cheerleaders and Spirit Squad must arrive by 6:30pm.

FUTURE CHEER & TUMBLING ACADEMIES:

5-6 week academies include insurance, full practice gear (top, shorts, bow, socks & cheer shoes), cheer & tumbling instruction and access to open gym. $200 each participant.

Tumbling Academy: Mondays 6:15-7:15pm.

Cheer Academy: Wednesdays 6:15-7:15pm.

OPEN GYM: Mondays 7:15-7:45pm, Tuesdays 7:15-8:15pm & Saturdays 1:30-2:30pm.

Thank you for your interest in and support of Santa Fe Lobo Cheer!  We are a youth cheer & tumbling academy with a focus on molding the future leaders of Northern New Mexico through building leadership skills, teamwork, determination, motivation and dedication starting from the ground up in this sport.  Serving youth of all genders, ages 4 through 16, our mission is to offer a year-round outlet for young athletes of all athletic levels and household incomes.  We offer year-round programs teaching cheerleading skills, beginning with fundamentals.  This includes cheer and dance techniques, motions, stunting and basic to advanced tumbling; as well as what being a cheerleader is all about: LEADERSHIP!  Our programs are offered in a range of mini camps and academies throughout the year.  Your cheerleader will get some one-on-one instruction to build on their personal skills while they experience what teamwork is all about!  The best part of participating in this organization is that ALL ATHLETES, regardless of household income, can (and are highly encouraged to) fundraise or seek sponsorship for their FULL tuition!!!  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit youth organization, we appreciate our generous sponsors and all of our fans!  Please check our website for updates.
