INDIANS TAKE SECOND AND HEAD WEST

July 11, 2004
Northwest that is, en route to the much heralded GonzoBall Little League Tournament in Comstock, Michigan just outside of Grand Rapids, to square off with teams from all over the Midwest.

But First----We digress.
Our beloved Southfield Indians, known as the Comeback Kids of late, fell one run short against the Yankees in the 2004 SYB Championship game this past Saturday at the Civic Center.

In dramatic fashion down 10-5 in the last inning, the tribe scored 4 runs making the score 10-9, with 2 men on base it looked like they were going to pull it out again. But it was not to be. Final score 10-9.

Sights are now set for the final games of the year in the above mentioned road trip to Grand Rapids and the Gonzoball Tournament. Where the first game is Saturday morning pitting the Indians against the Grand Rapids Flames.
