South Jersey Storm Baseball is a travel/tournament baseball organization which has been established to provide another option for higher level baseball players in Cinnaminson, Delran, Palmyra/Riverton and surrounding communities.
The goal of our organization is to focus on teaching the fundamentals of baseball so our kids can be more prepared for their high school baseball experience and beyond. We also feel the importance of teaching our players great sportsmanship, and how the lessons we learn in baseball can translate into real life.
Travel baseball is also becoming increasingly expensive.
We will be competing in local tournaments to keep costs down, and trying to provide a true travel schedule, without the costs of an academy sponsored team.
We are looking to expand our organization to all ages interested.
We are a volunteer based organization, and are always looking for coaches, assistants and sponsors for our teams.
Many of our players play in their local community organizations, as well as with the Storm, and we are happy to accommodate those desires.
S.J. Storm currently has a 13U Baseball team in it's inaugural year.
The team is coached by a collaboration of coaches from Cinnaminson, Palmyra/Riverton and Delran N.J.
The team will be playing in the Tri State Elite league and looking for competitive tournaments to enter throughout the season.
All players are evaluated and those chosen will train from January until March.
Once games start, they will practice at least once a week to develop their skills and make sure they are ready to play.
