Moyse named 2008-2009 Captain
Mac Moyse has been named the 2008-2009 captain for the spartans. It is the first time the coaching staff has named a captain in the off season. A captain is someone who should lead on and off the ice, in season and out of season. Co-captains will be named at a later time.
Moyse Named to 1st Team All State and AGR
Junior defensemen Mac Moyse was named to 1st team All State by the New York State Coaches Association. Mac was also named to first team All Greater Rochester. This is the 2nd year that an AGR team has been selected and Mac is the first Spartan named to this team.
Booster Club Award Winners
There were four spartans honored at this years winter sports banquet. Mac Moyse was named team MVP. Brandon Morgan was named team MIP. Nate Annello was named given the team sportsmanship award and Eddie LaVilla was given the team scholar award with a 96.4 average.
Spartans Honored
Two spartans were honored for their play this season. Mac Moyse was named to first team all county and Tom Sudek was named to second team all county. Great job guys. Tom Sudek also won the Patrick Pugliese which is given to the player with the best sportsmanship in the entire division.
