Welcome to the home of the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization (PYFCO)!

PYFCO began in 1960 and has grown to 16 leagues representing three cities and three counties in the Hampton Roads area.

In 2024, PYFCO will enjoy our 64th year!

The objective of the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization is to instill in the youth of the Organization members the desire to engage in an activity that will teach them physical and mental skills through the enjoyment of the game of football and its related activities.

The Organization consists of a governing body of 13 leagues from geographic areas in and around the Peninsula.  Leagues consist of players, cheerleaders, coaches, and administrative officials.  Leagues are organized into five divisions:  Flag 6U (5-6), 8U (6-8), 10U (9-10), 12U (11-12) and14U (13-14).

In Memory of John Bennett Jr. "JB Elite"

John unexpectly passed way on May 14, 2023. If anyone had been on a PYFCO field in the last few years they knew John. John was always walking about checking on everyone and making sure they had what they needed. He was a wonderful caring person that gave all he could to help improve PYFCO and youth football as a whole. He had a vision of what we could achieve if we would all work together for the betterment of the youth in our area. John also worked tirelessly to help get the PYFCO Elite program running smoothly. He secured sponsors and helped in every aspect of the program that bears the JB Elite name. John was also a PYFCO Commissioner.  As a Commissioner you spend countless hours talking through issues and visiting fields. I could always count on John to bring a different point of view and between us we made the best decisions for the leagues we possibly could. He leaves behind and incredible family that meant the world to him. Not a day went by on the field that John did not talk about his wife Dawn or his wonderful children. His loss will be felt by many people for a very long time. As the 2023 Fall season gets underway we will all think of John and know that he is still out there walking the fields in spirit. You will be missed John!
