Bent Returns to Action for Harrow Borough

December 8, 2007
James Bent, midfielder for the Seals this past season, returned to action with Harrow Borough Football Club this past week, after a six week layoff due to a knee ligament injury.

Bent had played in eleven matches this season prior to his injury.  The last time Bent had played was on October 17th against Maidstone United.  In those eleven matches, Bent had four goals, and was averaging 82 minutes of match time.  Harrow Borough had struggled while Bent was out.  This was in part due to the loss of his dynamic play, and two other players who moved on to other clubs right around the same time.  Harrow Borough went on to loose four straight matches before earning two wins leading up to today's draw.

After sitting on the bench for the Tuesday, December 4th match against the Tonbridge Angels, Bent made his return to action, today (Dec 8th) in a draw against East Thurrock United. Bent played the first 45 minutes of the match, and had one shot on goal forcing goalie Shane Gore to make the save.

Harrow has moved into 8th in the tables in the Premier Division of the Isthmian League (more commonly known as the Ryman League), which sits in the 7th tier in the English football league system.
