Subscribe to our NewsletterIt is the mission of the Red Jacket Junior Hoops Inc. program to work in partnership with the Red Jacket community, and public schools to foster a safe and encouraging atmosphere in which young girls and boys will be afforded the opportunity to participate in the sport of basketball.
Objectives:
Practices that are structured in the interest of teaching the basic fundamentals of basketball to entry level players, while progressively furthering the skills of advanced players. Compete in games with varying levels of competition with teams that are equally grouped based onage/grade and skill level.
Learn and implement an awareness of sportsmanship that will allow players to compete appropriatelyregardless of game outcome.
Learn skills that can be utilized in athletics, as well as in every day life such as; setting goals and achieving them through hard work and dedication; working with others in accordance with rules and regulations to achieve a common and shared objective; respect for others, and for one's self; and perseverance to work through adversity.Red Jacket Junior Hoops will place utmost importance upon academics, and will expect consistent adherence to any and all mandated scholastic activities and requirements.
