Charity Nights are an excellent way to introduce Charity Members, Family and Friends to Charitable

Gaming at the Cambridge Bingo Centre and at the same time earn money for the Charities.

How do Charity Nights Work:

• The Cambridge Gaming Association Executive works along with the Cambridge Bingo Centre to

determine the date/dates of the Charity Nights.

• Once the date/dates are known, an e-mail will be sent to the membership of the Association to

announce the details of the Charity Nights.

• Each individual charity is asked to inform their membership (volunteers, office staff) of the

upcoming Charity Night. The membership is then asked to invite their family and friends to the

Charity Night.

• Charities will receive $10.00 for each charity member/friend that has registered at the Charity

Night provided they have made a Minimum Purchase of $19.00

• The funds received by the Charity from the Association can be used for any purpose. These funds

do not get deposited into the OLG Account.

How much does Bingo Cost to Play?

• The Cambridge Bingo Centre will be offering a . The

package will cost $19.00 and consist of the following (The Lightning Bingo must be purchased

separately) :

3 Strip Regular Book Double Action Book

1 Strip Special Book ** Free Dabber

• If individuals would like to Play Bingo on the Terminal (Geckos), they can purchase one of the

Gecko Packages. (The Lightning Bingo and Double Action must be purchased separately.)

Gecko Package (Basic) - $25.00 Gecko Package (Plus) - $50.00

6 Strips of all the Regular Games 12 Strips of all the Regular Games

3 Strips of all the Specials ** 6 Strips of all the Specials **

• Individuals have the choice on what they want to play: Paper Bingo, Electronic Bingo or both. They

must purchase at least $19.00 in Bingo Product for their purchase to count towards the Charity

receiving $10.00

What type of Prizes can be won

• There are $2,825.00 in fixed Prizes that will be awarded

• Players also have a chance to win the following prize amounts on the Specials **:

$7,000 – Rotating Hour Glass Jackpot $3,000 – Cambridge Bingo Jackpot

$5,000 – Ladder Jackpot $10,000 – Big “10” Jackpot

$2,000 – Super Jackpot

• Consolation Prizes are awarded on the Specials, if they are not won in the designated number of

calls.

What Happens on the Night of the Charity Night?

• On the Night of the Charity Night, the charity members (family and friends) purchase product

exactly like a Bingo Customer would at the Point of Sales counter.

• The Charity Member notifies staff at the time of purchase that they are there to support a

particular Charity that participates in cGaming at the Cambridge Bingo Center. If the Charity

Member purchases a minimum of $19.00 in bingo product, staff will then record the purchase on a

tally sheet. Staff then will mark the Sales Receipt to indicate that there purchase has been

recorded.

When do the Charities receive their funds from the Charity Night?

• Before the Charities receive their funds from the Charity Night, the tally sheets are totaled.

• Cheques are then written to each charity that participated in the Charity Night.

• Charities are then notified when their cheques are ready to be picked up.

• Charities will then deposit their cheques into their General Operating Account. These cheques do

not get deposited into the OLG Account.
