2023 17U Baseball Tournament

Tournament Rules:              **WIAA Rules in Effect Unless Noted Below**

 

1)       Age Eligibility: Must have H.S eligibility remaining.  No Graduated Seniors.

2)       Entry Fee $200.00 to be paid on-line at time of Registration. No Awards Issued.  Entry Fees to cover tournament expenses.

3)       Home team book to be considered official scorer.

·         Game Length:               7 innings.  No new inning may start later than 2 hr  after 1st Pitch.

·         No games end in tie.

·         Extra Inning Format

                                                               i.      Last out from previous inning starts at 2nd Base.

                                                             ii.      Inning starts with 0 outs and 0-0 Count on Batter. 

4)       Pitching Limits:

a.       WIAA Pitch Limits in Place.  Coaches will monitor pitch counts of their own pitchers.

b.       No Re-entry Allowed at Pitching Position in same game.

5)       Bat Rules:  Max Drop -3.  BBCOR or USSSA Bat

6)       Batting Order:  Can choose all players present or Bat 9 and Substitute.

·         All players present may be included in batting order. Free substitution of players in batting order. If a player becomes injured during at bat and cannot continue, Out will be awarded.  Remainder of game that spot will be skipped with no out awarded.  Injured player MAY NOT return to that game if spot has been skipped.

·         If team chooses to bat 9 and substitute, WIAA Substitution Rules will be followed. DH is allowed.  EH is not allowed.

7)       Tournament Structure:  Final structure based on final team count and will be sent to managers prior to event.

8)       General Tournament Guidelines:

·         No Carry Ins

·         Umpire Decisions are final, no appeal process. Coaches are responsible for conduct of all coaches and players.  Any coach or player ejected from a game will be ineligible for remainder of the tournament.

·         Tournament Director Reserves Right to Make Rules Adjustments if Needed.  All Changes Will Be Communicated to Head Coach of Each Team Remaining in Tournament.

·         Paying of Entry Fee acknowledges host team and site owner not responsible for injuries.
