Pee Wee

Elvaton offers the Pee Wee level for our 3rd and 4th grade athletes. At this level, we focus on game situational drills, fast paced stick skills, accurate throwing and catching and then learning the different positions on the playing field. The number of athletes on each team will be limited so that all girls get some one-on-one coaching and lots of playing time during games. We strive to develop a well-rounded athlete on the field.

Practices will be two days a week at Elvaton Park and will begin the first week of March. All games are held in the county at various grass fields. Days, times and locations for games are determined by GLAAAC (Girls Lacrosse Association of Anne Arundel County) and will be posted on the county website. The lacrosse season runs from March to June with an end of the season ice cream social and awards ceremony held at Elvaton Park.

At this level there are goalies, 7 field players and off-sides but no checking of any kind. All county lacrosse rules will be followed. The coach may choose to have the team compete in the Bilderback tournament in June.
