Lewisville Fighting Farmers Varsity took home a 5-2 victory over Cypress Creek on Friday.

In the first inning, Lewisville Fighting Farmers Varsity got their offense started when Haven Grider homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring three runs.

Grider led the Lewisville Fighting Farmers Varsity to victory on the pitcher's mound. She went four innings, allowing two runs on four hits and striking out three. Priscilla Worthington threw two-thirds of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Worthington recorded the last two outs to earn the save for Lewisville Fighting Farmers Varsity.

Delayne Moreno took the loss for Cypress Creek. She lasted four innings, allowing four hits and five runs.

Jessica Dracoulis led Lewisville Fighting Farmers Varsity with two hits in two at bats.

Ja'naiya Thomas went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Cypress Creek in hits.
