Goal Miners Hockey

Another week, but this time the possibilities have narrowed. The playoff round robin has been a very even affair with only a few points separating first from last, but tie breakers are coming into play. In the early game, the Drillers broke the game open in the third and impeached the Senators. In the later game, the Leaf's bounced back and mulched Basnett Plumbing 5 to 2, officially clinching a spot in the final game. As for who will play them? Basnett is currently in second, but will have to hope for a LaCross loss while they are idle this coming week. LaCross needs a tie or win and they are in! But hey, look at this: There is a possibility that 4 teams would tie for 2nd with 4 points after the results of next week . . . That means goal differential would come into play, so bury them chances!

2. Basnett Plumbing is in 2nd place with 4 points (And the head-to-head tiebreaker) (Even Goal Diff)
3. LaCross Crease is in 3rd also with 4 points (+3 Goal Diff)
4. The Drillers are in 4th with 2 points (-2 Goal Diff)
5. The Senators are in last also with 2 points (Even Goal Diff)
