MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the LI Hellcats softball program is to develop and teach young ladies the physical and mental aspects of travel softball and to create competitive teams to compete at a local and regional level.  Our main goal is for our players to build strong relationships and to develop character values that focus on teamwork, commitment, self-discipline, leadership, hard work, sportsmanship and respect.  

The LI Hellcats organization believes that our mission will make each player a success on and off the field.  Winning will become second nature when players improve on their fundamental skills as softball players through practicing and learning to play as a team.  Teaching players the concept of teamwork and leadership skills will only enrich players to become quality individuals in their future endeavors.  Players that work hard and embrace the team concept will succeed and prosper not only in our organization, but in all walks of life.
