MARIO'S PIZZA beats CHIRICHELLA BOYS 8-4

 HUDSON PORADA had two extra base hits, helping MARIO'S PIZZA to an 8-4 victory over CHIRICHELLA BOYS on Saturday at Hoboken. He singled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the fifth inning. KRON SAWYER's eight strikeouts were enough to push MARIO'S PIZZA past CHIRICHELLA BOYS. KRON allowed one earned run on two hits and five walks over 4 2/3 innings. ASAF GREENFIELD did his best to jumpstart the offense for CHIRICHELLA BOYS, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the sixth inning. KRON, HUDSON and JACOB GUGLBERGER helped lead MARIO'S PIZZA. They combined for six hits and three RBIs.  RYAN BURK was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out four. MARIO'S PIZZA closer HUDSON put away the final four outs to record the save. MARIO'S PIZZA never trailed after scoring two runs in the first on An RBI double by KRON and a groundout by BENNY LOVE. After pushing across one run in the top of the second, CHIRICHELLA BOYS faced just a 2-1 deficit. An error gave CHIRICHELLA BOYS life. KRON ended the inning by getting MATTHEW STEWART to strike out.  MARIO'S PIZZA survived CHIRICHELLA BOYS' surge and put up three runs of its own in the second. MARIO'S PIZZA scored on An error and a two-run single by ELI BLUMENFELD. CHIRICHELLA BOYS scored one run in the top of the fifth to cut its deficit to five. A groundout by RYAN set off CHIRICHELLA BOYS rally. ISA OLIVERI to end the CHIRICHELLA BOYS threat. MARIO'S PIZZA scored one run of its own in the fifth. MARIO'S PIZZA scored on An RBI double by HUDSON. Two runs in the top of the sixth helped CHIRICHELLA BOYS close its deficit to 8-4. An RBI triple by ASAF and a groundout by MATTHEW fueled CHIRICHELLA BOYS' comeback. CHIRICHELLA BOYS' RAFEAL WOSS struck out to end the ballgame.

 PICCOLO'S falls to RUSSO'S 6-5

 Not even a strong hitting and pitching performance from ZACH OSWALD could carry PICCOLO'S past RUSSO'S at Hoboken on Saturday as PICCOLO'S suffered a 6-5 defeat. ZACH put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for PICCOLO'S. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings. RUSSO'S' lineup had no answer for ZACH, he gave up just three hits, allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out 11 during his 5 1/3 innings of work. RUSSO'S held off PICCOLO'S, as PICCOLO'S was unable to overcome a four-run fourth inning deficit. PICCOLO'S scored on An RBI single by CHRISTIAN CONTE in the fifth inning and an error and a walk by CHRISTIAN in the sixth inning. Despite its efforts, PICCOLO'S couldn't finish the comeback. MICHAEL EFFINGER had a hot bat for RUSSO'S. MICHAEL went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the seventh inning. JAE COTO got the win in relief for RUSSO'S. JAE pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed no runs. ANTHONY CUOZZO was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.  PICCOLO'S jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. ANTHONY C got things going for PICCOLO'S with a single. RUSSO'S didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the second inning when it scored on An RBI single by MATTHEW HARASACK. After posting one run in the third, RUSSO'S again scored one in the seventh. In the third, RUSSO'S scored on a solo home run by MICHAEL EFFINGER.  RUSSO'S piled on two more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A clutch wild pitch scored JONATHAN SALINAS to open the scoring in the frame.

Second-inning rally sparks blowout win for FIORE'S, 13-3

FIORE'S jumped out to an early lead on RUSSO'S and captured a 13-3 victory on Wednesday at Hoboken. With 11 runs in the first three innings, FIORE'S left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI single by RAY FIORE and a two-run error during the first inning and a double by JOSEPH SOBOLOV, , an error, a fielder's choice, a groundout by CO MCINTYRE, an RBI double by JAVIER FIGUEROA, an RBI single by JOSEPH, and an RBI double by GRIFFEN HAAS in the second inning fueled FIORE'S' offense early. JOSEPH reached base three times in the game for FIORE'S. JOSEPH got the win for FIORE'S. He allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out nine, walked three and surrendered nine hits. ANDREW PARADES lasted just 1 2/3 innings on the mound for RUSSO'S before being taken out. ANDREW allowed five hits and 11 runs. In the top of the first, RUSSO'S grabbed the early lead, 2-0. RUSSO'S got things going when MICHAEL EFFINGER singled. A single by ANDREW then moved MICHAEL E from first to third. KERRY NEVILLE singled, bringing home MICHAEL E. RUSSO'S then tacked on more runs when N scored on an RBI single by JAE COTO.

POLICE DEPT. jumps on STAN'S early and coasts to 12-2 win

POLICE DEPT. refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against STAN'S, recording a 12-2 victory on Wednesday at Hoboken. The game was decided quickly as POLICE DEPT. exerted its will early with seven runs in the first three innings. An RBI double by DOMINICK CHINCHILLA and a double by DANIEL WEHRHAHN in the first inning and an RBI single by JACOB JARRETT during the second inning supplied the early offense for POLICE DEPT. POLICE DEPT.'s LUCA CONETTA was perfect at the dish, going 1-1. He singled in the fourth inning. JACOB got the win for POLICE DEPT. thanks to 11 strikeouts. JACOB allowed no earned runs on two hits and two walks over four innings. A bright spot for STAN'S in the defeat was DANIEL RASHKES, who allowed only one run while striking out five. DANIEL took the loss for STAN'S. The top of the first saw STAN'S take an early lead, 2-0. After JOSHUA SAPIRA singled, BRANDON LUI singled. More runs came home for STAN'S when LUI scored on a groundout by DANIEL. POLICE DEPT. piled on five more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A single by LUCA ignited the offense,, scoring CHARLTON ALONSO.

SEBASTIAN STOHRER throws PERFECT GAMEFOR 5 INNINGS 

ELKS defeats CASSESA'S 10-0 SABASTIAN STOHRER was untouchable on Thursday, throwing a no-hitter in ELKS' 10-0 victory over CASSESA'S.No CASSESA'S batter was able to locate SEBASTIAN's pitches during the game. SEBASTIAN threw a no-hitter, striking out 14 batters and walking none while recording his momentous feat. He got JAKE LANDSBERGIS to strike out for the final out of the game.ELKS blew out CASSESA'S thanks to six hits, including five extra base hits. ELKS scored three runs in the fifth on A steal of home by JORDAN GOMEZ, a walk by JACKSON MURRAY, and an error.JORDAN put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for ELKS. He doubled in the first inning and tripled in the third and fifth innings.JORDAN, SABASTIAN, ZAON LANEY and MICAL AVILES helped lead ELKS. They combined for five hits and five RBIs.CALVIN FLETT was charged with the loss. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out five.Three ELKS baserunners came all the way around to score in each of the third, fourth and fifth. In the third, ELKS scored on an RBI triple by JORDAN, scoring SEBASTIAN.

ADRIAN PETRI went 2-3, sparking CHIRICHELLA BOYS to a 2-1 victory in six innings over FIRE DEPT. on Friday at Hoboken. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning. RYAN BURK was in control on the bump. RYAN held FIRE DEPT. hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six. ISA OLIVERI recorded the win for CHIRICHELLA BOYS. He allowed one run over 3 1/3 innings. ISA struck out 10, walked five and gave up one hit. MATTHER POTTER was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed two runs. FIRE DEPT. scored its only run of the game when MICHAEL CARACAPPA drew a bases loaded walk in the first inning. CHIRICHELLA BOYS never trailed after scoring two runs in the third on A two-run single by ISA.

YOUNG DEMS falls 8-2 at the hands of ELKS

 YOUNG DEMS had a tough outing on Friday, as ELKS dominated in an 8-2 win in six innings at Hoboken. ELKS scored four runs in the sixth on A two-run single by THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA, an error, and an RBI single by MICAL AVILES. SEBASTIAN STOHRER reached base three times. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.  ELKS got the win thanks in large part to ANTHONY PERRINOD's dominant, 11-strikeout performance. ANTHONY allowed one earned run, one hit and two walks over six innings. YOUNG DEMS was led by ANGEL QUINONES's hitting. ANGEL went 1-2, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning. ELIAS COLON was charged with the loss. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out nine, and allowed four runs. The game's last lead went to ELKS thanks to a third inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on a two-run double by JORDAN GOMEZ and an RBI single by ANTHONY.

MARIO'S PIZZA pounded CASSESA'S on Saturday 10-3 at Hoboken in six innings. MARIO'S PIZZA scored five runs in the first on A walk by BENJAMIN HOFBAUER, a two-run double by ANDREW WHOLF, and a two-run single by JADEN OLIVIERI. ANDREW racked up three RBIs on two hits for MARIO'S PIZZA. HUDSON PORADA kept contact to a minimum, striking out eight CASSESA'S batters. HUDSON allowed three earned runs on four hits and two walks over 5 2/3 innings. ANTHONY HENRIQUEZ took the loss for CASSESA'S. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out three. MARIO'S PIZZA built upon its lead with two runs in the second. A clutch bases loaded walk scored ELI BLUMENFELD to open the scoring in the frame. MARIO'S PIZZA piled on three more runs in the top of the sixth. A double by BENNY LOVE ignited the offense,, bringing home ELI. That was followed up by ANDREW's triple, scoring BENNY.

MAS DEMOLITION gets 15 strikeouts from DANNY HANSON, win 7-0 over STAN'S

DANNY HANSON hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as DANNY tossed a shutout to carry MAS DEMOLITION to a 7-0 victory over STAN'S at Hoboken in six innings. DANNY kept contact to a minimum, striking out 15 STAN'S batters. MAS DEMOLITION's pitcher gave up just three hits over six shutout innings. VINCENT CHIRICHELLA did his best to prevent defeat. VINCENT went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for STAN'S. He singled in the first and fifth innings. MAS DEMOLITION couldn't get anything going so long as VIncent was on the hill. VINCENT held MAS DEMOLITION hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.  MAS DEMOLITION blew out STAN'S thanks to eight hits, including two extra base hits. MAS DEMOLITION's ROBERT AULD, DANNY, AIDEN LUBIN and KYLE VALENZUELA combined for seven hits and four RBIs. DANIEL RASHKES took the loss for STAN'S. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed three runs. The lead stayed with MAS DEMOLITION after the third, when it scored three runs on a three-run double by AIDEN LUBEN. MAS DEMOLITION tacked on another two runs in the sixth. KYLE kicked things off with a triple, scoring DANNY. That was followed up by ROBERT's single, bringing home KYLE.

Early lead gives FIORE'S easy victory over POLICE DEPT., 12-0

 FIORE'S beat POLICE DEPT. 12-0 in four innings on Saturday at Hoboken after a nine-run explosion in the first inning. LUIS RIVERA did his best to prevent defeat. LUIS paced POLICE DEPT. at the plate. LUIS went 1-2. He doubled in the fourth inning. FIORE'S couldn't get anything going as long as LUIS was pitching. FIORE'S managed just one hit off of RIVERA, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his two-thirds of an inning of work. GRIFFEN HAAS racked up two RBIs on two hits for FIORE'S. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning. SAMMY COOPER recorded the win for FIORE'S. He tossed four innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked none and surrendered three hits. DOMINICK CHINCHILLA was charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in one-third of an inning, walked three and struck out one.

JUSTIN BROWN stars as YOUNG DEMS defeats CASSESA'S, 25-6

JUSTIN BROWN hit for the cycle to carry YOUNG DEMS to a 25-6 win over CASSESA'S at Hoboken in six innings. JUSTIN racked up six RBIs on four hits for YOUNG DEMS. He homered in the first inning, tripled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and doubled in the sixth inning. YOUNG DEMS starter RODNEY CLASSEN struggled, allowing six in 1 2/3 innings, but the bullpen let up no runs and the offense banged out 13 to pick up the slack and secure the win for YOUNG DEMS. The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to three lead changes in the game. YOUNG DEMS took the lead in the third inning and held on for the victory. YOUNG DEMS scored on an RBI single by DYL ROSA off CALVIN FLETT, bringing home JUSTIN. JUSTIN recorded the win for YOUNG DEMS. He tossed 4 1/3 innings of shutout ball. He struck out eight, walked three and surrendered one hit. YOUNG DEMS pounded CASSESA'S pitching, as six hitters combined for 11 hits, 12 RBIs and 22 runs scored. CALVIN was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked three and struck out five. The top of the first saw YOUNG DEMS take an early lead, 2-0. A two-run home run by JUSTIN, scoring SEAN SMITH started the inning off. YOUNG DEMS went up for good in the third scoring five total runs, which came home on A two-run single by ANGEL QUINONES and an RBI triple by JUSTIN. YOUNG DEMS added three more runs in the top of the fourth. JUSTIN's single got things going, bringing home SEAN and ELIAS COLON. YOUNG DEMS tacked on another four runs in the fifth. ELKS defeats RUSSO'S 6-5

Wednesday wasn't a banner performance for SABASTIAN STOHER, but ELKS still managed to pull out a 6-5 victory over RUSSO'S in six innings at Hoboken. SABASTIAN surrendered five in five, but the bullpen allowed no runs and the offense banged out four to help secure the win for ELKS. The game was back-and-forth heading into the fifth, with seven lead changes. ELKS finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fifth inning. A steal of home by MICHAEL EFFINGER gave ELKS the lead for good. THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA led ELKS' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning. JONATHAN SALINAS took the loss for RUSSO'S. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run. The top of the first saw RUSSO'S take an early lead, 2-0. ANDREW PARADES got things going for RUSSO'S with a single. A stolen base then moved ANDREW from first to second. ZACHARY GUIDO homered, plating ANDREW. ELKS quickly matched RUSSO'S' strong inning with a three-run inning of its own in the first. ELKS scored on A fielder's choice, a steal of home by THOMAS, and an error. ELKS answered RUSSO'S' top inning with two runs of its own in the third. ELKS scored on An RBI double by THOMAS and an RBI single by JORDAN GOMEZ.

JOSEPH SOBOLOV was strong at the plate and on the rubber in carrying FIORE'S to a 12-1 victory over FIRE DEPT. on Wednesday at Hoboken. JOSEPH had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third inning, singled in the fourth inning, and tripled in the fifth inning. FIRE DEPT. couldn't get anything going as long as JOSEPH was pitching. JOSEPH held FIRE DEPT. hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out eight. FIORE'S blew out FIRE DEPT. thanks to 10 hits, including three extra base hits. GRIFFEN HAAS, OZ YIFRAKH, JOSEPH and ANTONIO CLEMENTE helped lead FIORE'S. They combined for eight hits and five RBIs. JACOB WRIGHT ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed four runs. FIORE'S went up for good in the third, scoring four runs on A two-run triple by GRIFFEN. FIORE'S scored three runs in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with three more in the Fifth. In the fourth, FIORE'S scored on a steal of home, plating OWEN MARTIN.

POLICE DEPT. pounded MARIO'S PIZZA on Thursday 13-5 at Hoboken in six innings. LUCA CONETTA had a busy day at the plate, collecting four extra-base hits. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the first, second, and fifth innings. HUDSON PORADA had two extra-base hits for MARIO'S PIZZA. He doubled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning. JACOB JARRETT recorded the win for POLICE DEPT. He allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out 11, walked four and surrendered three hits. SAWYER KRON lasted just 1 2/3 innings on the mound for MARIO'S PIZZA before being pulled. Sawyer gave up two hits and five runs. POLICE DEPT. went up for good in the second, scoring five runs on A three-run double by LUCA and an error. POLICE DEPT. scored three runs in the fourth inning, and then followed it up with three more in the Sixth. In the fourth, POLICE DEPT. scored on a two-run home run by LUCA, scoring DOMINICK CHINCHILLA.

An excellent effort by ZACH OSWALD spurred PICCOLO'S to an 11-1 win in four innings over MAS DEMOLITION on Thursday at Hoboken. ZACH racked up seven RBIs on two hits for PICCOLO'S. He homered in the first and third innings. The offense exploded for the PICCOLO'S in the third. PICCOLO'S' bats caught fire leading to six runs. MAS DEMOLITION couldn't get anything going as long as ZACH was on the mound. MAS DEMOLITION managed just one hit off of O, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out 10 during his four innings of work. DANNY HANSON reached base two times in the game for MAS DEMOLITION. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning. DANNY lasted just 1 1/3 innings on the bump for MAS DEMOLITION before being taken out. DANNY allowed one hit and four runs. PICCOLO'S went up for good in the first, scoring two runs on A two-run home run by ZACH.

CASSESA'S couldn't get anything going so long as ANDREW PARADES was on the hill. CASSESA'S managed just one hit off of P, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his three innings of work. CASSESA'S was hurt by a number of miscues in the field. CASSESA'S committed eight errors which led to five unearned runs for RUSSO'S. THEO INHULSEN was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 12 runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked five and struck out three.

 STAN'S outlast YOUNG DEMS in high-scoring affair, 14-10

STAN'S and YOUNG DEMS lit up the scoreboard on Friday as they combined for 24 runs. In the end, STAN'S won the offensive battle 14-10 in six innings.The teams combined for 10 hits, including six extra base hits. The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to seven lead changes in the game. STAN'S pulled out the win thanks to a strong fourth inning. A walk by DANIEL RASHKES scored VINCENT CHIRICHELLA and gave STAN'S the lead for good. BRANDON LUI racked up two RBIs on one hit for STAN'S. YOUNG DEMS scored three runs of its own in the first. FIORE'S shut the door early on CHIRICHELLA BOYS, capturing a 14-6 victory on Saturday at Hoboken. With 10 runs in the first three innings, FIORE'S left no doubt about the eventual outcome. An RBI triple by JOSEPH SOBOLOV, a passed ball, an error, a passed ball, and a steal of home by JAVIER FIGUEROA during the first inning and an error and a two-run error in the second inning supplied the early offense for FIORE'S. RAY FIORE had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. FAYVIAN CORDOVA racked up four RBIs on one hit for CHIRICHELLA BOYS. He homered in the fourth inning. GRIFFEN HAAS got the win for FIORE'S. He allowed three runs over one inning. GRIFFEN struck out none, walked five and gave up no hits. ADRIAN PETRI had a short outing, lasting only one inning on the mound for CHIRICHELLA BOYS before being pulled. ADRIAN gave up two hits and eight runs. FIORE'S was sparked by GRIFFEN and RAY, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs. CHIRICHELLA BOYS jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. The scoreboard lit up again for CHIRICHELLA BOYS when D scored on a groundout by RYAN BURK. FIORE'S scored three runs of its own in the second. It didn't take long for FIORE'S to respond as it scored four runs of its own in the fourth. FIORE'S scored on A two-run double by RAY, an error, and an error.

DANNY HANSON powered MAS DEMOLITION at the plate and on the rubber Saturday, willing MAS DEMOLITION to a 14-6 victory over MARIO'S PIZZA. MAS DEMOLITION's DANNY was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings. MARIO'S PIZZA had no answer for DANNY, who kept runners off the base paths in his appearance. MARIO'S PIZZA managed just three hits off of H, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out nine during his 4 1/3 innings of work. Even in defeat, ELI BLUMENFELD played well for MARIO'S PIZZA. ELI racked up three RBIs on one hit for MARIO'S PIZZA. He tripled in the second inning. ELI shut down MAS DEMOLITION while he was on the hill. ELI held MAS DEMOLITION hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one. ELI was the lone bright spot for MARIO'S PIZZA in the loss. JADEN OLIVIERI was charged with the loss. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out five. RYAN BURK threw a shutout to lift CHIRICHELLA BOYS to an 8-0 win over STAN'S at Hoboken in six innings. RYAN's 13 strikeouts were enough to push CHIRICHELLA BOYS past STAN'S. CHIRICHELLA BOYS' pitcher gave up just one hit over six shutout innings. Eight runs in the opening three innings allowed CHIRICHELLA BOYS to easily put away STAN'S. An RBI single by FAYVIAN CORDOVA in the first inning helped CHIRICHELLA BOYS put some runs on the board early. BRANDON LUI took the loss for STAN'S. He allowed eight runs in two innings, walked seven and struck out four. CHIRICHELLA BOYS piled on six more runs in the bottom of the third. ISA OLIVERI's double got things going.

THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA had an impressive outing against MAS DEMOLITION's lineup. MAS DEMOLITION managed just one hit off of the ELKS' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out 10 during his five innings of work. KYLE VALENZUELA ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs. MAS DEMOLITION managed to score one run in the first inning on an RBI double by KYLE. ELKS scored one run of its own in the first. ELKS scored on an error. ELKS never trailed after scoring two runs in the third on A groundout by THOMAS and an RBI single by ANTHONY.

MARIO'S PIZZA outlast FIRE DEPT. in high-scoring affair, 10-9

MARIO'S PIZZA and FIRE DEPT. lit up the scoreboard on Thursday as they combined for 19 runs. In the end, MARIO'S PIZZA won the offensive battle 10-9 in six innings. The teams combined for 18 hits, including eight extra base hits. MARIO'S PIZZA's HUDSON PORADA showed his talents on both sides of the diamond with a strong game on the mound and at the plate. HUDSON put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for MARIO'S PIZZA. He doubled in the second and sixth innings. FIRE DEPT. couldn't get anything going as long as HUDSON was pitching. YOUNG DEMS' FLACO COLON stole the show on Saturday, pitching a no-hitter in a 10-0 win over CHIRICHELLA BOYS at Hoboken. No CHIRICHELLA BOYS batter was able to locate FLACO's pitches during the game. FLACO threw a no-hitter, striking out 15 batters and walking two. He got MATTHEW STEWART to strike out for the final out of the game. YOUNG DEMS' JAYSON BLANKS, JUSTIN BROWN and FLACO combined for four hits and three RBIs. ISA OLIVERI was the game's losing pitcher. POLICE DEPT. refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against CASSESA'S, recording a 13-1 victory on Wednesday at Hoboken. With 10 runs in the first three innings, POLICE DEPT. left no doubt about the eventual outcome.  An RBI double by LUCA CONETTA and an error in the first inning and an error and a walk by TIGE MAUSETH during the second inning fueled POLICE DEPT.'s offense early. An impressive two-way performance from ZACH OSWALD led PICCOLO'S to a 4-3 win Tuesday over FIORE'S, as ZACH came up huge at the dish and on the rubber. It was a good day at the plate for PICCOLO'S' ZACH. ZACH went 1-3 and drove in one. He tripled in the second inning. ZACH was in control on the hill. FIORE'S managed just one hit off of the PICCOLO'S' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked four and struck out eight during his 5 2/3 innings of work. Three pitchers baffled STAN'S and teamed up to throw a no-hitter for MARIO'S PIZZA in an 8-0 victory in six innings on Wednesday at Hoboken. SAWYER KRON, ANDREW WHOLF, and HUDSON PORADA rounded out their sterling stat line with 12 strikeouts and nine walks. HUDSON put together a nice outing.  HUDSON held STAN'S hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out four.  Five runs in the first three innings helped MARIO'S PIZZA blow out STAN'S.  An RBI double by ANDREW and during the first inning and an RBI double by MALCUM KRON, an RBI double by HUDSON, and an RBI single by ELI BLUMENFELD in the second inning helped MARIO'S PIZZA put some runs on the board early. HUDSON had two extra-base hits for MARIO'S PIZZA. SAWYER pitched lights out for MARIO'S PIZZA.  SAWYER held STAN'S hitless over 2 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out five. Thursday wasn't a banner performance for CALVIN FLETT, but CASSESA'S still managed to pull out a 12-6 victory over FIRE DEPT. in six innings at Hoboken.  CALVIN allowed five in four, but the bullpen gave up one run and the offense banged out 11 to pick up the slack and secure the win for CASSESA'S.  ANTHONY HENRIQUEZ put himself in scoring position with three extra-base hits for CASSESA'S. He doubled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.  FIRE DEPT. was hurt by a number of miscues in the field. FIRE DEPT. committed three errors which led to three unearned runs for CASSESA'S.  CASSESA'S was sparked by THEO INHULSEN and ANTHONY, who teamed up for seven hits and six RBIs.  MATTHER POTTER took the loss for FIRE DEPT. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out six.  The game was never in doubt after the first, as CASSESA'S scored two runs on a two-run double by THEO.  It didn't take long for CASSESA'S to answer as it scored three runs of its own in the second. ELIAS C allowed one earned run on two hits and four walks over 4 2/3 innings. ANTHONY CUOZZO had an impressive outing against YOUNG DEMS' lineup. ANTHONY C held YOUNG DEMS hitless over 4 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out eight. ANTHONY C took the loss for PICCOLO'S.  The lone run of the game for PICCOLO'S crossed the plate in the first inning on a steal of home.  YOUNG DEMS never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on two ground outs.  After posting two runs in the third, YOUNG DEMS again scored two in the fifth. MARIO'S PIZZA falls to FIORE'S 5-3

 

 

 

Not even a strong hitting and pitching performance from HUDSON PORADA could carry MARIO'S PIZZA past FIORE'S at Hoboken on Saturday as MARIO'S PIZZA suffered a 5-3 defeat. HUDSON led MARIO'S PIZZA's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the third inning.  HUDSON was in control on the mound. HUDSON held FIORE'S hitless over one-third of an inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none. The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with six lead changes.  FIORE'S finally managed to grab the lead after a strong fourth inning. FIORE'S went up for good on an RBI double by JOSEPH SOBOLOV off ANDREW WHOLF, plating RAY FIORE.  RAY got on base four times in the game for FIORE'S. He doubled in the fourth inning.  SAMMY COOPER got it done on the bump on the way to a win. He allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered six hits.  SAWYER KRON was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out none, and allowed two runs.  In the bottom of the first, FIORE'S grabbed the early lead, 1-0. A double by SAMMY, scoring GRIFFEN HAAS started the inning off.  FIORE'S scored two runs of its own in the third. FIORE'S scored on A groundout by JAVIER FIGUEROA and a walk by OWEN MARTIN.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MICHAEL EFFINGER leads RUSSO'S to 11-1 victory

 

 

 

An impressive two-way performance from MICHAEL EFFINGER led RUSSO'S to a 11-1 win Saturday over FIRE DEPT., as MICHAEL E came up huge at the dish and on the bump. MICHAEL E went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for RUSSO'S. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the first and fourth innings.  MICHAEL E put together a nice outing. MICHAEL E held FIRE DEPT. hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out five.  RUSSO'S' bats came to life in the first inning. In the inning RUSSO'S scored six runs. RUSSO'S scored in the first on An RBI triple by ANDREW PARADES, an RBI single by ZACHARY GUIDO, an error, a two-run single by JAE COTO, and a fielder's choice.  KERRY NEVILLE recorded the win for RUSSO'S. He allowed one run over one inning. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered one hit.  VICTORIA BRAVO was charged with the loss. He allowed seven runs in two innings, walked two and struck out three.

 

 

 

 

 

ELKS defeats STAN'S 6-2

 

 

 

ELKS beat STAN'S 6-2 in four innings on Saturday at Hoboken behind ANTHONY PERRINOD, who went 2-3. He singled in the first and fourth innings. THOMAS SPADAVECCHIA struck out 10 hitters en route to the ELKS win. THOMAS allowed two earned runs, two hits and one walk over four innings. BRANDON LUI racked up two RBIs on one hit for STAN'S. He homered in the third inning. BRANDON was charged with the loss. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked seven, struck out four, and allowed five runs. The lead stayed with ELKS after the first, when it scored two runs on a groundout by THOMAS and an RBI single by ANTHONY. ELKS added three more runs in the bottom of the second. A ground out scored TYLER KRAUTH for the inning's first run. That was followed up by THOMAS' double, bringing home JEREMIAH VEGA and JESSIE MCALLISTER. A two-run third inning helped bring STAN'S within three. A two-run home run by BRANDON sparked STAN'S' rally. VINCENT CHIRICHELLA struck out to end the STAN'S threat.
