Mount Hamilton Minor Hockey Association (MHMHA) welcomes the involvement of volunteers throughout the hockey season and through the off-season.

Here are some of the ways to get more involved

Coaching

Our volunteer coaches go through certification with Hockey Canada. Coaches are the heart and soul of the hockey experience!

Course work is online and a vulnerable sector police screening is required.

Trainers

Our volunteer trainers go through certification with Hockey Canada. Think of them as the ‘first aid’ person of the team.

Course work is online and a vulnerable sector police screening is required.

Sponsorship

Each year we seek the support of volunteers to assist in connecting sponsorship opportunities to the league. Are you comfortable connecting with local business? A master of the sales pitch?

If you have experience with this we would love to hear from you!

Social Media

Our league aims to connect with families, our community and sponsors through the use of social media.

Are you a FaceBook wiz? Have special skills on Twitter or Instagram? A design master? Connect with us (and help us connect to others)!

Have a teen?

We invite volunteers to assist with a variety of tasks such as scorekeeping, equipment inventory work etc. Connect us with your teen and we can confirm their hours for their Ministry of Education requirements

Have limited time, but want to connect?

There are many time limited ways to get involved such as:

- Time Keeping: Each team requires a timekeeper – volunteer during your childs game

- Special Events: We hold a variety of events and always appreciate assistance

- Supports to our executive committee

Looking to meet the executive committee or have new ideas to share – join us at the Annual General Meeting on Tuesday April 23, 2024 at 7pm in the Upper Meeting room of Mountain Arena
