I have been involved with Baseball since I was 5 years old and it has been the love of my life since. I have been in baseball as a professional since I was drafted as an 18 year kid out of high school and have been working as a player , coach and instructor at the professional, collegiate, and high school level for the last 20 years.(My bio is under headlines)

I know there are a lot of choices out there when it comes to travel baseball teams, and I want to share with you what I have to offer.

First, I have been through the process myself as a top 100 player in the country coming out of high school and was the 130th pick overall in the draft. I don't tell you this to brag, but to explain that I know what it"s like to be recruited by the top college baseball teams in the country and be followed by professional scouts as an amateur. I have taken official visits, make a college choice and sign a national letter of intent. I then had to make a decision whether to keep my college commitment or sign a professional contract for a six figure bonus. I also made sure I went to college and got my degree while I was playing through the Major League Baseball Scholarship Plan. These were tough decisions to make as a young kid, but with the help of my parents and one of the best "advisers" I could ever had Ed "The Faa" Ford I made my decision to go pro.

At the end of my playing career I became a pitching coach at a Division 1 school and did this for 3 years at two different programs. So I have been on the other side of the coin, recruiting kids , being at showcase tournaments, congregating with other college coaches to see what they are looking for.

I have also been a head coach at Montclair HS, a Group 4 school in North Jersey for 3 years so I respect the relationship between high school coaches and travel teams. I believe they can work together in getting the best for their student athletes.

I was recently named Head Varsity Baseball Coach of Paramus Catholic High School in the Big North United, the top conference in the state. I served as Assistant Head Coach for 4 years(2015-2018). We have improved each year and made a run to the quarterfinals of the Bergen County tournament in 2016 after back to back 15 win seasons! Since I have been there we have beaten state powers Bergen Catholic, Don Bosco, and St. Joe's Montvale which haven't been done in a long time. We look to bring PC its first championship ever this year as we prepare for the 2019 season!

I have been a travel showcase coach since 2005 when I was one of 5 teams from New Jersey to attend the Perfect Game national tournament in East Cobb, Georgia. As you know now there are about 30 teams from Jersey going now.

I have coached and helped many young student athletes reach their goals and move on to Division 1 scholarships to major programs around the country and well as at the Division 2 and 3 levels. (See Showcase Team Alumni under headlines)

When you are making your choice for a team I think it is important to know who you are getting involved with and ask questions. With the Internet it is easy to verify coaches resumes, and I believe it is important to be around good baseball people that can truly help your son.

I will put my resume up against anyone in the business. I will give you my best to help your son along with his development as a player and help along with the college recruitment process. I will give you advice from both the player and the coach's view.

With that being said I hope that you will make the New Jersey Yankees your choice!
