Here are the major storylines leading into the 4th NOBL.

-Former Teamates Now Rivals- Mike Blank, Fatorna Greene, and Zach Beegal all enjoyed the glory of being on the champion 76ers of NOBL 3, now the tides have turned and all 3 are leading separate teams. How will these former champions fare against each other? Also, Matt DiMartino and Ryan Stark were just 1 win away from an NOBL 3 Finals appearance together on the Nuggets, now they square off in a battle of Western foes, which tips off the NOBL season.

-The captains reassume controls- Mike Blank and Jay Wilkins take over again as captains over their former championship franchises. Can either captain become the first captain to lead 2 different teams to titles? Keelan Adams, Tristan Emig, and Joe Brown also return to captain once again. Will these three captains fare better than previous seasons, and finally get their much anticipated championship?

-The NOBL Expands Again!- For the first time ever, the NOBL will have 6 teams in each conference, 120 players, and a 16 game regular season. The changes can add to the NOB-Legacy, and build more memories, more stats, and more glory for the NOBL-World.

-Stats Galore- NOBL 3 saw 3 members join the exclusive "1000 Point Club", but in NOBL 4, who will add to that list? Jake Wiatrowski, Mike McGarry, Jay Wilkins, Joe Brown, Alex Smith, The Commish, and Mike Fehrle are within striking distance, can they join the elite scorers club? Also, Jake Wiatrowski looks to be the first to get 1000 rebs, barring and injury he will get it, but who will join him? Many more stats to pad, more players, more games, more stats.

-The Videos Return....- After technical problems in NOBL 2, and complete computer/camera/programming errors in NOBL 3, the videos FINALLY return. A new camera, and a new format. Now, immediatley following games, games in their ENTIRETY will be placed on youtube. Top and Not Top 20's will replace Top and Not Top 10's but will be on a weekly basis. So Sunday Nights, look for the chaotic craziness, ridiculous laughter, and solid highlights to take over once again.

-NOBL Controversy Again- It has already begun. With Joe Brown dropping out within a week of the draft, the saga of chaos, disorder, controversy, and the NOB-Legacy continues. What other memorable problematic situations will arise this season? If tradition continues, you better believe it will be at an all time high this season.

-Rookie captains take over- Mike McGarry, Brian Oshinsky, Matt DiMartino, Ryan Stark, Fatorna Greene, Zach Beegal, and (technically) Jake Wiatrowski take over with new roles as the leaders of their respective teams. How will these veterans fair with the new responsibility? Will these rookies do what only Jay Wilkins did in NOBL 2, and be a rookie captain to lead their team to a title, or will these rookies suffer the same fate as all other rookie captains of former years and end the year with no championship to add to their resumes.

-Where will the former captains fall? - Jay Smith, Joe Humpf, Mike Wynne, and Cody O'Neal were all captains in NOBL 3 but all suffered frustrating ends to their seasons leading to them entering the draft pool this season and bowing out as captains, where do these former leader's draft stocks lie? There are still many other former captains who are in the draft pool this season, where will those captains of several NOBL seasons past fall to? Will they finally get the ultimate goal of being crowned NOBL Champion?

-The beginnings of the NOBL showing its age?- This season will begin the filming of the much anticipated "NOB-Life- The Untold Story of the NOBL" as well as the stepping stones toward the first ever inductees into the NOBL Hall of Fame. Is the NOBL World reaching its pinnacle? How will this NOBL season go with some many various things approaching the NOBL in its future? Will the love for the NOBL be at an all time high? Only time will tell, but with every NOBL season, it gets bigger, it gets better, and it definitely gets bolder.

- NOBL 4 Stark - This offseason, we lost one of the faces of the NOBL. A truely remarkable, beloved, and respected individual passed away. This season, countless amount of players look to honor our fallen friend and family member, Mike Stark. The MVP award will be renamed The Mike Stark Most Valauble Player Award as a true show of what the NOBL looks for in terms of its best player. Mike was one of the greatest, no one can deny that. We will all miss him, and this season, is simply dedicated to his memory.
