Congratulations on your District Championship, and welcome to Elko, Nevada! We look forward to hosting your team and their families over the next several days. Listed below is valuable information regarding the Western Regional Nevada State Tournaments. Feel free to contact anyone of the names listed for additional information.
LOCATION:
The tournaments will be played on 3 fields within a block of each other between College Ave. and Cedar St. and practice fields are located within the same area (see attached map). 9-10, 10-11 will be guaranteed games on both Len Holdren and Ernie Hall field. 11-12 will play solely on Ernie Hall and Juniors will play on Kump field(s). Ernie Hall and Lower Kump field have full concessions please support Elko Little League and their efforts to make 2016 Nevada State Tournaments as enjoyable as possible.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
July 20th:
3:00-5:00 PM- Book check/Team registration @ Flagview Intermediate School
Managers/Coaches only
5:00 PM- Managers and coaches meeting.
All Mgs/coaches will meet at Flagveiw Main Gym to go over general rules.
5:15PM- Managers/coaches will have a chance to walk the player fields each division designated coordinator.
5:45 PM- Opening Ceremonies Ernie Hall Field
All Teams will be lined up between the lines within divisions. Younger division closer to backstop.
6:00 PM- Welcome BBQ for players complementary and $3 meals tickets for parents and family
Team are encouraged to mingle with other teams.
7:00 PM- Skills Challenges @ lower Kump Field
Throwing: 2-5 man teams. 2-6-3-5-4-2. 2 chances top time wins.
Running; 2/tm. Fastest around. 2 chances. Round 2 based on times fr Md 1.
HR Derby; 2/tm. Choose pitcher. Rnd 1-2 warm-ups. 6pitches. Round two top 3-5 swings 10 pitches with money ball.

July 21:
GAMES BEGIN @ 8:00 AM
First rounds games times will tentatively be scheduled at 8 am, 10 am at Kump, 11am, 4pm, and 7pm Ernie Hall Field only. Times and locations subject to change by tournament director. Please be early to all expected start times.

NAVADA STATE TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
1) All coin tosses for first round games will be held at managers meeting. All subsequent tosses will be held directly after the deciding game for the following round.
a) HOME team will take the 3rd base dugout.
b) Elko Little League will supply lineup cards which must be completely filled out with first and last name and number (difficult names spelled phonetically). These must be turned into the official score keeper with pitching affidavit 30 minutes prior to game time.
c) Manager will sign off on affidavit directly following the game.
2) Teams must be ready to play 30 minutes prior to schedule start time. If games are running behind have your team ready to play at the conclusion of the previous game.
a) Once entering the dugout for the first time all equipment must be placed in front of the dugout for inspection. Legal bat will be given a sticker, only these bats maybe used. Only Tournament Director may certify a bat after the first inspection.
3) No infield practice warmups prior to game
a) May use respective grass sides of field for wiffles or IF/OF. NO LIVE BP!
4) 5 minutes prior to the game announcer will begin the pregame ceremony with a brief “welcome” and team introductions.
5) Field Decorum:
a) Stay on time. Clean up dugouts and field promptly. Team meetings are to take
place outside of field if a game follows.
b) Hustle on and off the field. Time between innings will be minimal.
c) No contact with spectators by players or coaches during play.
d) Pitch count will be announced each half inning. All changes will be reported to umpire and
official scorekeeper. Only managers may talk to official scorekeeper.
e) No foul language will be tolerated.
f) No tobacco (or e-cig/vapes) may be used within playing or bleacher area. Please use common
courtesy.
g) No outside food or drinks allowed in the dugout. Please take out what you bring in. All coolers/bags subject to inspection.
h) No alcoholic beverages allowed around playing area.
***NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED IN THE CITY OF ELKO PARKS***
