          1. Team fees are $375.00 to play per season (subject to change)

           1. Fees are to be paid in full before 1st game.

      C. How fees are distributed?

           1. Umpire fees for season.

           2. Baseballs for season play (games/practice)

           3. Field prep and clean up equipment.

           4. Training facilities 

           5. Games outside of regular season competition.

 

2. Practice and games?

     A. Practices will meet at least three times per week.

     B. Legion season 

          1. (7wks 3x per) June 1 through July

          2. Playoff season after successful regular season:

              2a. State Tournament (mid July)

              2b. Regional Tournament (August)

              2c. World Series (mid August)

     C. Scrimmage 1 week before June season start.

     D. Tournament 2x during season.

     E. Travel distance/time

         1. Regular season play (2.5 hours within state of Delaware)

         2. Scrimmage/Tournament play (5 hours within Mid-Atlantic region)

   B. What is provided at practice?

        1. Provide positional skill set training. Practices are structured by the coach to improve individual skills, build team strategies and develop the sense of team. The coach devotes a substantial amount of time in the design and delivery of each practice. Each coach is committed to teach the players as much as they can about the game of baseball so that each player can become the best that they are capable of being. 

 

C. What is the objective of the team?

     1. The objective of the Newark Post 10 Generals Baseball Program is develop advanced baseball skills within a highly competitive environment, while at the same time learning the values of hard work, preparation and teamwork. Ultimately, we strive to develop players and teams that will one day have the opportunity to compete for and attain college scholarships and Athletics.
