RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The offense kept rolling for the SoCal Bombers on Thursday as they defeated the Riverside Bulldogs 15-3 to earn their fourth win in a row.

Jimmy Smith got things started early as he led the game off with a double off the top of the fence in left field.  Ryon Knowles drew a walk to put two runners on as Connor Shepherd laced a double into left center to clear the bases.  A sacrifice fly from Joey Magro brought in Shepherd to give the Bombers a three-run lead.

Cody White started on the mound for the Bombers and struck out two Bulldogs in the bottom of the first inning.  The only blemish on his day came in the bottom of the second as two errors allowed two unearned runs to score.  He finished his day going four innings while striking out three and allowing just two hits.

The Bulldogs kept the Bomber bats silent for two innings, but things got hot again in the top of the fourth.  A two-out rally was sparked as Aaron Meers drew a walk.  Dallas Reed followed with a single and both runners were brought in by an RBI single from Smith.  Knowles drew a walk to put two on again, this time for Chris Sandberg who blasted his first homerun of the season over the fence in right field.  His three-run shot put the Bombers up 8-2.

The long ball became the trend as Meers sent a two-run bomb to right center for his second homerun in as many days.

Shepherd added another RBI to his day with a single in the top of the sixth to bring in Knowles.  A sacrifice fly off the bat of Jerron Largusa knocked in Sandberg to add to the commanding 12-2 lead.

James Goodwin took over on the mound in the bottom of the fifth and pitched two innings without allowing a run.  He struck out four, including three in the bottom of the sixth.

Knowles and Sandberg each added RBIs in the top of the seventh, and the scoring was capped by a solo shot off the scoreboard in left center by Largusa in the top of the eighth.

The three-game series with the Riverside Bulldogs concludes on Saturday as the Bombers look to sweep.  The game will be at Corona High School at 4 p.m.
