RIVERSIDE, Calif. - After the conclusion of the of the suspended game from June 6th, which the Bombers won 14-11, the Bombers took the final game of the regular season against the Arroyo Seco Sentinels by a score of 6-2.

The Sentinels struck first with a run in the bottom of the first inning off Bombers starter, Sergio Valenzuela.  They struck again in the bottom of the second with an unearned run but Valenzuela was able to shut them down over his next three innings.  He would go on to earn the win as the Bombers took the lead in the top of the sixth inning.

Their first run came across in the top of the fifth as Chris Palmer reached after getting hit by a pitch to lead off the inning.  A base hit from Ryon Knowles, his third of the game, moved Palmer into scoring position.  Sentinel pitching loaded the bases with one out before Cody White walked to bring in a run.

The top of the sixth got off to a hot start for the Bombers as Brandon Cody led off with a double to deep center field.  Eric Mendez drew a walk to put runners on first and second.  Sam Medina, fresh off an impressive diving catch in center, laid down a successful sacrifice bunt to move both runners over.  Knowles stayed hot at the plate and singled to knock in both the tying and go-ahead run.  With two outs and a runner on, Conner Shepherd crushed a ball to the roof of a nearby building past the right field to extend the lead to 5-2.

Ryan Arambula came on in relief in the bottom of the sixth and recorded three strikeouts in his two and a third innings.

The Bombers continued to stay hot at the plate in the top of the seventh as three consecutive singles from Cody, Chris Sandberg and Medina brought in another run.

Logan Grigsby took over on the mound in the bottom of the ninth and struck out the side, all of them looking.

Knowles led the way offensively, going 4-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base. Cody was the other Bomber with a multi-hit game as he went 2-for-4.

The Bombers take on the San Diego Force tomorrow in a double-header to be played at the Soboba Indian Reservation.  Game one is slated for 1 p.m.
