BrewCrew Lose 1st Game of Bridgeton Invitational, Finish 2nd

The BrewCrew came out of the winner's bracket to face Garton's Seminoles, the team that the BrewCrew defeated in their last game. But due to extremely odd and unfair rules brought forth by the Bridgeton Invitational, the team with a loss coming out of the loser's bracket needs to defeat the team coming out of the winner's bracket once. And that is just what happened.

Stephen Cooke was not on top of his game, walking the games first two batters. Both scored to give Garton's the 2-0 lead. That is all that Garton's would need as the BrewCrew could only muster two baserunners, one a double by Kevin Kopas and the second was a HBP by Holden Marshall. These resulted in no runs.

This is the fourth second place finish in the BrewCrew's last four tournaments. Next up for the BrewCrew is a game against the Harford Hurricanes in the Susquehanna League.
