We have recently learned that one of our VAA coaches has suffered a tragic fire that has left him and his family with nothing. Thankfully, Coach David Mackenzie and his family are safe. Unfortunately, they lost all of their belongings in this house fire.  

We are a family at VAA and want to help in any way we can.  We will be collecting any and all donations you can give at the White Building at the Varina Recreation field at 8087 Recreation Road on Thursday, May 21st from 6pm to 8pm.  Donations of any kind (not just monetary are being accepted).  Coach Mackenzie has 3 children--two boys ages 13 and 9 and one girl age 4.
