TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
25th Annual AA Tournament of Champions – November 13-16, 2008
• Guaranteed 3 games - 2 game round robin plus 1 game elimination round
• Finalists - players and coaching staff will receive pewter rings
• Champions - players and coaching staff will receive brass on pewter rings
• Champions - will take home a Championship Banner to hang in their home arena
In an effort to streamline and make admission hassle free, we do not charge admission at each arena. Each team’s entry fee includes their team’s gate admission fee for the tournament.
Tournament Entry Fees are:
Canadian Teams $850.00 (CDN Funds)
USA Teams $850.00 (cheque issued in applicable CDN Funds re: current bank exchange)
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES:
October 15, 2008. However, be advised that acceptance and placement is based on a first received first accepted basis. ACCEPTED Teams will be notified on or before October 22, 2008. Teams will be notified of their game times no later than October 30, 2008. Any team withdrawing after October 22, 2008 is not entitled to a refund.
All local area teams must be prepared to play their first game on Thursday evening. All remaining teams will play their first game on Friday. SCHEDULE ON FRIDAY TO COMMENCE at 8:00 AM. Every effort will be made to accommodate teams’ first game start time who are traveling long distance to our tournament.
Team Managers are asked to report to the designated scheduled arena at least one (1) hour prior to the start of their team’s first game.
Registration takes place in the arena where that game is to be played. ALL teams MUST register prior to their first game.
