Tru Speed Track Club of Mesquite is a non-profit 501c3 organization consisting of girls and boys ranging in the age from 6 years of age up to 18 years of age. These athletes live in and represent the Mesquite, Texas area. Tru Speed Track Club continues to earn recognition as a top contender in track and field events. In fact, many of the team members qualify for regional and national competitions.

For those new to track and field, the sport is a fun, rewarding and a challenging experience. Exceptional athletic ability is not required to join. However, your child must have the desire to run and improve his/her conditioning. All levels of athletic ability are welcome, since emphasis is on setting personal goals and training to attain those goals.

We are members of the USA Track & Field (USATF) Southwest Association, Region 12 youth division. Our club's goals are to encourage and help young people to develop physically, emotionally and socially through their involvement in our program. They will improve their physical conditioning as they learn skills related to track and field and they will build a positive self-image as they recognize their individual achievements. Your child will be part of a team that encourages and promotes the development of friendships, support and encouragement of fellow athletes, good sportsmanship and a good time.

Tru Speed Track Club of Mesquite is sanctioned by the USA Track & Field, the National Governing Body for Track & Field, long distance running in the USA. All registered members of the Tru Speed Track Club will be recognized by the USATF. As a member, you will have the opportunity to compete in the National Youth Outdoor Track & Field Championship held in the United States.
