The fall Norwalk Revolution finished in the top spot in the East Shore Travel League's Major Division. We want to congratulate the coaches and players for all their hard work. 2016 NORWALK BABE RUTH BASEBALL COLLEGE SHOLARSHIP WINNER
Thank you to all of those who have supported Norwalk Babe Ruth Baseball over the years. Thanks to your generosity, this year we were able to provide a $1,500 college scholarship to a graduating Senior Babe Ruth player heading off to college. Thank you to all those who applied, it was exciting to read about the accomplishments - both on and off the field - of the young men who applied.
We are happy to announce that the winner of the inaugural 2016 Norwalk Babe Ruth College Scholarship is Richard Clemens lll. All of us with Norwalk Babe Ruth Baseball want to congratulate Richard and thank him for his continuing five years of Babe Ruth participation. Richard exemplifies the spirit of Norwalk Babe Ruth Baseball on the field and off. This fall, Richard begins his studies at DeSales University in Pennsylvania.
Norwalk Babe Ruth Baseball is proud to reward our student athletes for thier commitment to the league, school and the community. We encourage all graduationg high school seniors to apply for this scholarship in 2017.

Norwalk Revolution 14U: 2016 East Shore Travel League Second Place Finish
NORWALK REVOLUTION 14U - 2016 EAST SHORE TRAVEL LEAGUE SECOND PLACE FINISH
After compiling a 23-5 East Shore Travel League summer season record, the Norwalk Revolution 14U team takes second place in the East Shore League Championship. Norwalk Revolution 16U Wins Jay Lamando Summer Slam Tournament Crown

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Revolution 16-and-under baseball team won the Jay Lamando Summer Slam Tournament Crown in Wappinger Falls, N.Y. last weekend.
In pool play, the Revolution posted a 2-1 record, besting the Mid Hudson Valley Tigers 4-3 Friday night behind the four- hit pitching of Jack Letizia. On Saturday they fell to the Hudson Valley Falcons 15-8 and then went on to beat the Bombers Baseball Club in the nightcap via run rule 11-1. Zach Hurd allowed no hits through 3 innings of work and Ryan Williams picked up the save. The Revolution 16s were seeded fourth going into the championship round.
In the semifinals on Sunday afternoon, the Revolution faced the number 1 seeded Falcons (3-0 in pool play) a team they lost to in pool play. Zach Hurd toed the rubber, scattering six hits for the complete game victory, 13-5. Tom Troy led the way with a 4 for 4 effort scoring 3 times while Ari Lander and Chris Restaino had two hits and scored twice.
The championship game pitted the Revolution 16s against the second-seeded Field Generals. The Revolution struck first as Tom Troy singled, stole second and scored on a Zach Hurd single. The Field Generals scored twice in the bottom of the inning to take the lead. That’s all the scoring the Revolution would allow.
In the top of the second the Revolution erupted for six runs to pull away. They would also score a run in the third and fourth innings making the score 9-2. Jack Letizia (3 innings) and Cory Acevedo (4 innings) and the Revolution defense shut the Field Generals out the rest of the way for the championship.
Offensively, Tom Troy and Ari Lander had 3 hits apiece and Matt Troy, Zach Hurd, Jeff Joslyn, Nick Covino and Dax Generoso all had 2 hits.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2016 JUNIOR BABE RUTH CITY CHAMPIONS FURST PROPERTIES!
What a great way to celebrate Father's Day, watching two evenly matched teams slug it out for the 2016 Norwalk Junior Babe Ruth City Championship at Nathan Hale Middle School. Excellent pitching, timely hitting and aggressive base running from both teams kept the large crowd in attendance on their feet through seven innings of play. As with all competitive contests there had to be a winner and this season's John McGuirk Memorial Trophy goes to the Furst Properties team that bested a tenacious Italia Restaurant team by a close score of 3-2.

The Norwalk Revolution has two teams running this spring, the 13 Revolution (Todd Deklyn) and the 14 Revolution (Ricky Riscica) that are off to a great start.
