2017 West GA Dixie Baseball
13 -15 year old league
West GA Dixie Baseball in Columbus is proud to operate as the premiere youth baseball division between Little League Baseball and High School athletics. West GA Dixie league is located at the Britt David fields behind Wal-Mart and Home Depot on Airport Thruway, known as the Dixie Baseball Complex.
The 2017 season saw a tremendous influx of 13 year old players moving up from the surrounding little league organizations. The best of that group will be putting their talents to the test in the Dixie State Tournament beginning Friday, 14 July. We know they will do us proud.
For the second year in a row, the team from Veterans Middle School, the Rangers, took home the League Championship. They will now start the 2018 season as the 2-time defending Champions. The team from Richards Middle School, the Warriors, put up a valiant effort and pushed the Rangers to the brink of defeat before succumbing in the latter innings. Congratulations to both teams on a tremendous season.
The West Georgia Dixie Baseball League is an entirely volunteer organization; from the president to the coaches. We are always looking for quality coaches to ensure all teams have the necessary leadership and role models. If you are interested in coaching during the spring or fall season please let us know.
