Some Definitions

CJ SCC - Chaminade Julienne Student Conditioning Center - This is our home practice facility.

MVKWA - Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association - The league we compete in. There are 65 teams all over the Miami Valley and beyond. From as far north as Ottowa Glandorf (95.5 miles), south to Kings Mills (34.9 miles), east to Jeffersonville (Fayette County, 41.2 miles), and west to Richmond, IN (47.9 miles).

OAC - Ohio Athletic Committee - A separate sports organization in Ohio that runs the unofficial most competitive Ohio state wrestling tournaments for grade school and junior high. There are several state qualifying District tournaments and several sectional tournaments where wrestlers gain seed points for districts. Two Districts are listed on our schedule just for reference. These meets are for our more advanced wrestlers and are separate from our regular season.

One Great Reason Why We Coach!

This is a letter was written by Eliana Fink, a 9 year old wrestler on our team. Moments like when she presented this letter to us at the awards ceremony on March 20, 2017 remind us why we volunteer to coach. Thank you Eliana!

Kid's Club and Junior High Results

All Results are available in the handout section and above. Check them out. They will be updated after each tournament. If you see an error, please let me know. They are based off of the official tournament paperwork and the human parents that do it (and don't always get it right. Don't hold it against them, nothing would get done at all without the wonderful volunteers!)

The Visitor Counter has been reset. It was at 5,525 when it was reset May 9, 2013.

CJKEWC Mission Statement

“The purpose of the CJKEWC is to educate all youth in the sport of wrestling. This is accomplished by developing and promoting a basic understanding of and appreciation on part of both parents and youth, and to prepare for the next level of wrestling at the high school level. In the process of teaching wrestling, the CJKEWC will instill self-discipline, foster values of good citizenship, and provide a positive environment for disadvantaged youth. “
