Nutter Center Itinerary
Kid’s Club Nutter Center Championship Itinerary, Sunday, February 18, 2018
Please read my accompanying emails related to this event all the way through!
4-8 year olds arrive at Nutter Center by 10:00 a.m. Ready in our seating section by 10:15 a.m.
9-13 year olds arrive at Nutter Center by 2:45 p.m. Ready and in our seating section by 3:00 p.m.
We no longer have a full morning table, just a head table. Table workers at table 21 in the afternoon arrive at 2:45 p.m.
No one on the mats prior to wrestling time.
Entry is $10.00. I do not know what, if any, age gets a discount. Parking is $5.00
Wear your warm ups over your singlets.
ALL of our wrestlers are paired. Please see the Parent Sheet for the information. If your wrestler is not going to be there, let us know ASAP, so we can get him/her scratched. My number is at the top of the page. Jason’s is 937-604-1072. Julian’s is 937-422-3237.

From: C-J High School 505 S Ludlow St Dayton, OH 45402
1. Head south on S Ludlow St toward US- 35
2. Take the US-35 E ramp on the left to Xenia
3. Merge onto US-35 E, go to I-675 north towards Columbus
4. Go north on I-675 to the Fairfield Road exit.
5. Turn left on Fairfield Road. Go until you get to Colonel Glenn Highway.
6. Prepare to go straight across (there are several lanes, get in one that takes you straight across. You can’t miss the Nutter Center on the right.
About 14 minutes travel time.
However, there will be a wait. Be prepared to wait to park and to wait to get in the door!
All morning wrestlers need to arrive by 10:00, so plan accordingly!

CJ SCC - Chaminade Julienne Student Conditioning Center - This is our home practice facility.
MVKWA - Miami Valley Kids Wrestling Association - The league we compete in. There are 65 teams all over the Miami Valley and beyond. From as far north as Ottowa Glandorf (95.5 miles), south to Kings Mills (34.9 miles), east to Jeffersonville (Fayette County, 41.2 miles), and west to Richmond, IN (47.9 miles).
OAC - Ohio Athletic Committee - A separate sports organization in Ohio that runs the unofficial most competitive Ohio state wrestling tournaments for grade school and junior high. There are several state qualifying District tournaments and several sectional tournaments where wrestlers gain seed points for districts. Two Districts are listed on our schedule just for reference. These meets are for our more advanced wrestlers and are separate from our regular season.

CJKEWC Mission Statement
“The purpose of the CJKEWC is to educate all youth in the sport of wrestling. This is accomplished by developing and promoting a basic understanding of and appreciation on part of both parents and youth, and to prepare for the next level of wrestling at the high school level. In the process of teaching wrestling, the CJKEWC will instill self-discipline, foster values of good citizenship, and provide a positive environment for disadvantaged youth. “
