Nassau Semi Fast Softball 2021

Our mission is to provide a Modified Softball Sunday Morning League for players of all ages. As we move into the future our goal will be to keep a level playing field for all teams. We ask the managers to be mindful when constructing teams to avoid Super Power softball teams like in years past. These type of teams, along with illegal pitching caused NSFSL to shrink in size from 22 teams down to 12 over the past 5 years. Now with the Alliance Modified League folding we have an opportunity to grow this league the right way. This is essentially a B Level League. To accomplish this, we will use various tools such as a Grand Fathered Pitchers List and a Banned Pitcher List. In addition, all new pitchers will be evaluated on a case by case scenario by Anthony Mendolia and/or George Acunto. The Grand Fathered List will consist of all pitchers from the 2017 season that were posted on the forum. Posting on the forum is how we know your pitchers are eligible for the playoffs. The Banned Pitchers List will comprise of pitchers whom have pitched in NSFSL in recent history and have been deemed Slingers. It is not a long list. Pitchers not on it of similar styles can and will be added during season.
