VERY IMPORTANT 2015 Little League Approved Bat List
Before purchasing a bat for your player make sure it complies with Little League Rules. More information about bat types, bat sizes and a list of approved bats is available at the following link.
Little League Bat Information Page
In general the following applies (check the link above to confirm):
Major Division and below (Age 12 or less):
- No more than 33 inches long
- No more than 2 1/4 in diameter
- Non-wood bats must have a BPF factor of 1.15 or below
- Composite bats must be on the approved Little League List (see link above)
Junior Division (Age 13-14):
- No more than 34 inches long
- No more than 2 5/8 in diameter
- Composite bats must meed the BBCOR performance standard and be labeled as such on the barrel of the bat
Senior Division (Age 15-16):
- No more than 36 inches long
- No more than 2 5/8 in diameter
- Not weigh more than 3 ounces less than the length of the bat (e.g. a 33 inch bat can't weigh less than 30 ounces)
- All non-wood bats must meed the BBCOR performance standard and be labeled as such on the barrel of the bat
