NEW YORK STATE CHAMPIONS

Warriors 16u team wins the 2016-2017 New York State Hockey Championships and earns its way to the 2017 US National Hockey Championship in Frisco, TX.  The Warriors went 3-0 in round robin play locking up the first seed. Games were played against Syracuse Blazers (4-0), Long Island Edge (9-2) and Southtown Stars (5-2).  In the semi-finals the Warriors squared off against season long rival and 2nd seed in the WNYAHL division Clarence Mustangs.  Cheewa would win that game 4-1 and a berth into the finals.  In the finals Cheektowaga would play Skaneateles Lakers.  The Warriors scored the first goal by Lucas Prince and would not look back as they went onto a 4-1 win and would represent New York in Frisco, TX at the US National Youth Hockey Championship.  The hockey championships will be held Apr 6-10.  A link and schedule will be available soon.  

 


Cheektowaga Warriors defeat Team Ohio 2-1 in double overtime.  Goal scored by #14 Justin Zulewski

The Warriors went 5-0 in play earn the 2016 Harbor Center Cup.  


 

The Warriors defeat Team Ohio 1-0 on a goal scored by Trevor Folsom to earn the 2016 Team Ohio Summer Blast Championship.
