AYS&B Tournament Concessions
Altoona Youth Softball and Baseball will be hosting a few tournaments again this year. As with every year, we need a lot of volunteers to make these tournaments a success. We ask that every family participating in the league sign up for at least (1) 2 hour shift. All shifts are at hobbs as of now.
The tournament concession schedules will be attached. To sign up, simply call Mike Phillips at 715-559-5949. Slots will be assigned on a first come/first served basis. There are 3 tournaments to choose from. The Boys All Star Blast will be held from June 21st-23rd. The Girls Classic will be held from July 12th-14th. The Girls (EC) tourney will be held June 28th-29th.
Please sign up as soon as you can. You are helping to make Altoona a better place for our youth to learn and play softball and baseball.
Attached is the current 2013 field schedule. If you wish to make a reservation, or changes to your schedule, please contact Mike Phillips to do so. Keep in mind that this will change often, and I will not be able to update it every single time someone emails me to make a change as my job keeps me on the road a lot. I will take all field requests on a first come / first served basis
Thank you to the over 45 volunteers who gave time out of their weekend to help us with our 2nd annual field clean up day on Saturday, April 27th. AYSB is a 100% volunteer organization, and we could not do what we do without the great people that we have. Thank You!!!
Umpires Needed
If you are interested in becoming an umpire for the 2013 baseball/softball season let us know. We are looking for individuals who want to umpire either baseball/softball or both.
