BAGAA is planning a series of FREE Family Movies at Gillott Field starting Saturday May 30th.  Movies will begin at Dusk.  Our hopes is that we’ll attract enough families that we’ll make a nice return at the Concession Stand and with any donations patrons want to give us.  We think this a great way to do something for the community and increase BAGAA revenues all at the same time.

We’re calling this series BALLFIELD FLICKS and will show G-rated and PG-rated movies only.  With the free & easy parking, playground and quiet surroundings, we think this is a perfect venue for this kind of event.

What can you do?

1.  Share the following Facebook posting to your Facebook friends:

FREE Family Movies.  The Bellevue Avalon Girls Athletic Association (BAGAA) is going to host a series of FREE Family Movies (G or PG Rating) starting this Saturday May 16th night at dusk.  These BALLFIELD FLICKS will be held throughout the summer at Gillott Field at the end of Davis Avenue in Bellevue.  BAGAA will have their concession stand open for snacks, drinks and treats.  Bring your chairs, blankets and family.  A flyer with future movie dates will be available at the concession stand.

2.  Volunteer to help out.  We could use volunteers to make flyers, work in the concession stands, and run the movies, set up before/clean up afterwards, distribute flyers in Bellevue, Avalon, Ben Avon, Emsworth, and Brighton Heights.  We also may do special nights we’re we offer face painting or tattoos or other items that kids may like.  Have an idea of other ways to make $$ during these films?  Let us know.

3.  Come yourself – Bring your own family, neighbors etc.  We don’t get many opportunities to meet other BAGAA families – so this is a great way to do it.  Enjoy a nice family film under the stars.

Have any questions?  Let us know.

If anyone has any pictures from opening day or from games moving forward that you would like to share on the website, please email them to shana477@yahoo.com.  Just put "BAGAA Pictures" in the subject line.  Thank you!!
