BAYONNE RECREATION TO HOST
NBA/WNBA FIT CHALLENGE!
THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 8TH
The NBA FIT/WNBA FIT Challenge consists of a series of five (5) exercise stations: Line Sprints, Jump Rope, Defensive Shuffle, Wall Pass and Speed Revolution. Participants compete individually against the stopwatch and each participant is timed at each of the five (5) exercise stations for thirty (:30) seconds per station. The repetition of each exercise converts into a point value – participants are trying to earn as many points as possible in the thirty (:30) second time period.
Participants in each age and gender group from your local competition with the highest combined total score from each of the five (5) stations have the opportunity to advance to the Regional Competition (held between 11/15/2009 and 1/17/2010 - location TBD) and possibly the National Finals to be held at NBA All-Star 2010 in Dallas, Texas in February.
COMPETITION IS FREE AND OPEN TO BOYS & GIRLS, AGES 14 & UNDER.

NBA/WNBA DRIBBLE, DISH & SWISH COMPETITION!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22ND
1:00PM
In its inaugural year, the NBA FIT / WNBA FIT Dribble, Dish & Swish, Presented by Pepperidge Farm® Flavor Blasted® Goldfish® crackers provides boys and girls, between the ages of 7-12, the opportunity to showcase their basketball skills in a time-based national competition against their peers. Boys and girls in three separate age divisions (7-8, 9-10, and 11-12) compete against each other in a basketball skills course which challenges participants to dribble, pass and shoot accurately as quickly as possible. Top two boy and girl competitors in each age division will advance to the National Finals for a head-to-head competition at NBA All-Star Jam Session 2010 in Dallas, Texas.
COMPETITION IS FREE AND OPEN TO BOYS & GIRLS, AGES 14 & UNDER.

CHAMPIONS! The Big Apple Bruisers are the 2009 Co-Ed Softball Champions! The Bruisers defeated the Wicked Riders in two games to capture the title.
