Congratulations to ON THE ROCKS, the 2014 City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Sr. Women's Softball Champions!

Its the 3rd title in 4 years for ON THE ROCKS!


 

 

Pictured is MV Hammers, the 2014 City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Co-Ed Softball Champions! MV Hammers swept the defending champions, The Champs, in a best of three series, 2-0.  Congratulations on a great season!


It was Dinosaur Day at the Division of Recreation Young Children's Summer Program!

The City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Special Needs Sports Program had a special SUPER BOWL SUNDAY football activity with a Super Bowl Party that followed! Every participant enjoyed kicking a field goal, going through an obstacle course, and even got to wear shoulder pads and a football jersey! After football, everyone enjoyed muffins, donuts, bagels, juice, and got their own Super Bowl party hat!

January 28, 2014 - Pictured are the participants of the Division of Recreation Co-Ed Pillo Hockey League.  The Pillo Hockey League, open to boys and girls, ages 6-7, meet every Monday at 5:15pm. 


 

January 11, 2014 - Pictured is the City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Kids' Travel Club at the Menlo Park Mall Dine-In Movie Theater.  Club members saw the movie Frozen and did some shopping in the mall as well.


Saturday, December 14, 2013 - Pictured is the City of Bayonne Special Needs Sports Program, along with the St. Peter's Womens University Soccer team, at the Ice Rink gym as the program participants played soccer!


 

Saturday, December 7, 2013 - Pictured is the City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Kids' Travel Club at the Funplex Arcade in East Hanover, New Jersey.

The Kids' Travel Club is open to Bayonne residents, boys and girls, ages 7 - 13.

Saturday, November 30, 2013 - Pictured is the City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Adult Travel Club as they get ready to leave for a day of shopping at the Monmouth Mall. 

 


 

Saturday, November 9, 2013 - Pictured is one of the participants at the City of Bayonne Division of Recreation Special Needs Sports Program.  Over 35 children took part in the new program.  They enjoyed the game of Pillo Hockey!

TAI CHI! Pictured are members of the 56th St. Senior Center at their weekly Tai Chi class.

Tai Chi takes place every Tuesday and Friday at 11am.
