BRAVES' PLAYOFF GAME
The Braves will be playing on Sunday, November 8th.
Bus time for the PLAYERS is 11:00am to Cambridge for 1:00pm game vs Newton
Bus time for the CHEERLEADERS is 12:00pm to Cambridge for 1:00pm game time
THE BUS WILL BE AT BILLERICA HIGH SCHOOL MAIN PARKING LOT.
Directions to Cambridge

Take Route3South to Route 128South to Route 2. Take a left at the end of Route2. At the first set of lights, take a right onto Mass. Avenue. At the third set of lights, take a left onto Rindge Avenue. Follow Rindge Avenue until you see a baseball field. Take a right into the parking lot after the baseball field. You are at Russell Field.
PLAYOFFS
BPW will be hosting playoff games on Sunday, November 8th at the Lampson Field. In order to make the playoffs a success, we will need volunteers. We will need help lining the field before the games. We will also need help with the concession stand, the grill, collecting playoff monies, security, selling 50/50s, etc. If you are available and can assist the league, please contact Rocco Magliozzi at 978-866-8852 or RJM5019@yahoo.com.
The schedule for Sunday, November 8th is as follows:
Middlesex League versus North Shore League
D Teams: 9:30am game
C Teams: 11:15am game
B Teams: 1:00pm game
A Teams: 2:45pm game
PLEASE NOTE: ALL PARENTS, COACHES AND EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE PLAYOFF TICKETS AT THE GAME. (ONLY ROSTERED COACHES WHO ARE PLAYING DO NOT HAVE TO PAY.)
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to the Apaches, Braves and Indians for placing first in their division at the New England Regional Competition on Saturday, November 7th at the Mass Mutual Center!! Awesome job!!
MANDATORY CHEERING PARENTS MEETING
For the parents of the Apaches, Braves and Indians, there will be a mandatory meeting on Monday, November 9th at 5:45pm in the auditorium at the Locke Middle School!! We will be collecting the Room Reservation/Credit Card Form that is in the package you received at the previous meeting. Also, there will be a sign-up sheet available for canning on Saturday, November 14th. We will also be collecting money for advance purchase of tickets for the New England Regional Competition (tickets are $15.00 CASH ONLY).

GAME SUMMARY REPORTS
Game summary reports will be published each week in the Billerica Minuteman and The Lowell Sun (depending on space allowance). Summaries for each team will need to be submitted to Kathy Coffey, our Public Relations Coordinator. Email your team’s report to bkcoffey@comcast.net. Your report needs to be submitted to Kathy no later than 9:00am on the Tuesday following game day.

FOOTBALL FOR DUMMIES AND MOMMIES
There is absolutely nothing more frustrating than watching football from the sidelines and not understanding what is happening. You feel left out when everyone else around you seems to know what is going on. The information compiled in "Welcome to Football for Dummies and Mommies" is to help all spectators (moms, grandparents, friends, cheerleaders, some dads and even a person with “blonde” colored hair) understand the basic game of football. The game of football can be extremely complicated, but I have attempted to translate the concept of the game for you in the simplest manner. Please be patient as this is a work in progress.
