Congratulations to the 55lb. team and head Coach Ron Brown on their Turkey

Season comes to a close
Congratulations to all of our teams on the 2013 season. Special recognition to
our 105lb. team who lost a 6-0 heartbreaker to top seeded Mt. Airy in last week's
playoff game. The Bears great defense kept it close, and a odd exchange that
left the ball floating in midair was what it took to stop the Bears on 3rd and 1
from the 10 yard line.
Former Bear Passed
Our prayers go out to the Moore family for the loss of their son, George Moore Jr., who passed away. Georgie played for the Bears for several years.

Former Coach, Fan, & father of the Bear Family passed
On June 24th, Bruce Vogelei passed away. He was a long-time coach and fan, and among the most spirited people in the organization. He coached the 2001 KSL 75lb. championship team, where his twin sons, Ronnie and Tommy, went on to win their first of three championships. Bruce was also a Team Dad, weigh-in parent, and contributed in any other way he could. He is also survived by his son Bruce, who is a Lou Ivans award winner and captain of the 2001 105lb. & 2003 125lb. championship teams. Bruce was a Bear at heart, and always enjoyed seeing the youth of Bucks County succeed.
