Welcome to the Capistrano Valley High School tennis web site!! The Cougars are part of the South Coast League (boys) and the Sea View League (girls) and play in the CIF Southern Section, which features several nationally ranked teams. Capo Valley has distinguished itself over the years as a tough competitor, sending individuals to the Ojai CIF Singles/Doubles Championship and CIF Individuals Quarter-finals. The girls' team has reached the CIF playoffs for 3 of the last 4 years and the boys' team has reached CIF for their 4th straight year. Our Varsity Coach, Coach Terri, recorded her 100th win in 2012. With the leadership of Coach Terri and the commitment of our players, we will continue to foster this winning tradition.
Capo Art Smash Enjoyed by All!
The Capo Art Smash was a smashing success, raising over $2000 for CVHS Tennis. Village Gallery displayed a beautiful assortment of art and auctioned the pieces off in a fast-paced live auction filled with jokes and banter. The share donated by Village Gallery from sales of the artwork plus funds raised by the silent auction baskets totalled over $2000.00.
A big thanks to our organizers for putting together such a fun and successful event!!
A Great Season!
Capo lost to a tough Chaminade team (7-11) in their CIF match. But this loss did not dim the bright seasons and great efforts from both the JV and Varsity teams. Congratulations to all players!
Practices for the rest of the semester will be during 6th period ONLY. There will be no practices on STAR testing days.
The Varsity banquet will be on Weds., May 30, at the Cafe Maiz, and the JV banquet will be on June 6. Stay tuned for more details!
