Welcome to Gamblers Travel Softball Website for Girls. In 2002, Cayuga embarked on a mission to bring back house softball to the Cayuga Youth Athletic Association.Competative softball in Niagara Falls had almost ground to a halt. In 2003,the CAYUGA GAMBLERS were formed and play in Buffalo Metro Girls Softball League and the Niagara Frontier Girls Softball League along with multiple tournaments locally and out of state.
The Lady Luck Tournament Series is now in our 8th year. This years Summer Series has 10U,12U,14U,and 16U groups and from the entries received, it must of got some great revues.Some teams travelling from as far away as Ohio,the East Coast and Quebec,Canada.All of the Girls tournaments games are played at the Niagara Falls High School and at our privately owned 93rd Street Park. The Fall Frenzy Series will be held once again in early October running three weekends in a row for 12U,14U and 16U!
In the future,the young house players of today will have a local tournament that they can compete in if they work and succeed at playing at a higher level. The house league girls and travel teams will benefit from the upgrades these tournaments allow us to make. This season we have completely enclosed the 3 existing skinned fields at our 93rd Street facility and upgraded our diamond trike to groom the diamonds for great playing conditions.A third skinned diamond has also been added to allow us to offer a bigger venue and therfore more teams into our summer and fall tournaments. The tournaments also will also bring many visitors to Niagara Falls that may have never visited if not for this quickest growing tournament in the Niagara Area!!
Many thanks go out volenteers, board members and parents that make it possible for the girls to have the oppurtunity to play in a quality organization. Cayuga Youth Athletic Association continues to show the area of Niagara Falls the way. See you at the park !!
