2014 Jaguars Registration Schedule



Dear Parents

Welcome to the 2014 Central Charles Youth Football Association football and cheerleading program.  We are pleased you have chosen to join our Association and trust that the benefits of membership will meet your expectations.  We thank you for your patronage to the Central Charles Youth Football Association (CCYFA).  Your active participation and involvement in CCYFA activities will be instrumental in contributing to the overall success of the Program.

The 2014 youth football season will mark our 5th season of competitive football and our 3rd season as a member of the Southern Maryland Conference American Youth Football League (SMCAYF).  The CCYFA Football and Cheerleading Programs are governed by the rules and regulations of the Central Charles Youth Football Association inconjunction with Southern Maryland Conference and American Youth Football (AYF/AYC).  As a non profit, 501 (C)(3) organization that is soley supported by registration fees, fundraisers and sponsorship donations, it is vitally important for your participation in our fundraising program in an effort to keep our registration fees competitive and to help defray some of the operating expenses incurred by the organization during the year.  This season promises to be a fun-filled season full of memories.  In an effort to better serve our members, we have marked a few important items and activities you should be aware of for the upcoming 2014 football season.

1. Registration: The 2014 Central Charles Jaguars officially kicked-off its registration campaign on March 29, 2014.  Patrons can either register online or come to one of our walk-up registration locations.  Registration for football players and cheerleaders will run from March 29, 2014 to July 12, 2014.  However, after June 14, 2014 all registration will be online.  The registration fees to participate in the football and cheerleading program are as follows: $225.00 ($235.00 online). Football registration includes: helmet, shoulder pads, practice jersey, girdle, knee pads, mouthpiece, game pants and game jersey.  The registration fee does not include the provision for practice pants, cleats or protective cup.  Cheerleading registration includes: uniform, shoes, socks, midriff, briefs, practice shorts, practice t-shirt, hair ribbon, pom-poms, cheer bag and water bottle per cheerleader.  Registration fees can be paid by check (with Driver's License), money order, credit card or cash.  All monies are due at the time of registration.  All fees must be paid in full before any child can receive equipment and uniform, and participate in any practices or games. (*online registration subject to a 3% surcharge)

2. Fundraiser:   Each participant is required to participate in the mandatory fundraisers.  Each participant is required to sell a minimum of ten (10) products.  The original order form and monies are to be turned into the President on or before August 8, 2014.  All orders will be processed on August 11, 2014.  The delivery and pick-up of products will be on August 23, 2014 at Westlake High School, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.  The fundraisers will be used to help defray some of the costs associated with operating the organization, as well as, to purchase new equipment and uniforms, concessions, league fees, etc.

3. Refund Policy:  This year's refund policy for the Central Charles Youth Football Association will strictly be enforced.  If a Parent chooses to withdraw a football player from the prgram on or before July 12, 2014, the Parent will receive a refund of $60.00.  After July 12, 2014, no refunds will be given.  If a Parent chooses to withdraw a cheerleader from the Program on or before July 12, 2014, the Parent will receive a full refund.  After July 12, 2014, no refunds will be given.  By signing the registration form you acknowledge that you have read and understand CCYFA's Refund Policy.


No participant will be permitted to participate or receive equipment until the registration application and Parent's Code of Ethics has ben completed in its entirety and payment in full has been received.  In order to receive equipment, all participants must turn in the following completed forms at the designated time of equipment distribution.

Emergency and Infomred Consent Form, AYF Medical Clearance Examination Form, AYF Adult & Minor Waiver/Release Forms, AYF Adult & Minor Image Release Forms, and CCYFA's Uniform & Equipment Return Policy Form.
