Spring 2016 Season

The CYA Complex

The CYA Sports Complex is located at 550 Easton Street, Ronkonkoma NY (click here to view complex) .  It is adjacent to the Duffield Elementary School.  The complex consists of 11 fields, 2 grass 60', 4 skin 60', 1 grass 75', 1 skin 75', 1 grass 90' and 2 40' fields.  It has a fully stocked concession stand where you can get drinks, hot dogs, pretzels, bagels, coffee etc and is open during tournaments and throughout the summer.  The main building of the complex houses 2 new bathrooms and in indoor batting cage for our teams. The complex is handicap accessible.
Soft Toss
There is absolutely no soft toss allowed against any fences within the complex regardless of the type of ball being used.  There are soft toss nets located throughout the facility.  Damage caused by soft tossing will be the responsibility of the team and the league they are associated with.  CYA has the right to remove teams from the complex for failing to comply with this rule.
When visiting the complex we ask that you park in marked stalls only.  Vehicles parked in unmarked stalls are subject to being towed at the owners expense.  Cars parked outside of marked locations impede the ability of emergency vehicles from entering the facility and our ability to move equipment around the complex to prepare fields.  There is additional parking behind Duffield Elementary school.  When parking along Easton street you may not park on the sidewalk and must not straddle or park over the white line, your car will be ticketed.  We ask that you do not park directly next to the entrances to the complex as it makes it extremely difficult to enter and exit the complex.
Barbecue Usage
Local laws and regulations prohibit the use of any type of barbecue usage by general public on CYA complex grounds.

Snack Stand is Open

The snack stand is located on the west side of the complex building directly across from the farms field #5.  It has all your favorite foods and is open on game days Monday to Friday  from 6 - 8 PM and Saturdays from 830 am till 300pm.  All proceeds from purchase made at the snack stand are use to support the league.

Chiefs 12u Black Cooperstown Dreams Park

Connetquot Youth Association would like to congratulate the Connetquot Chiefs 12u Black Boys Travel Baseball team on their recent trip to the Cooperstown Dreams Park Tournament. Coach Mike said the boys played their hearts out all week, it was an unbelievable experience. 104 teams entered the weeklong tournament from all over the country. Teams traveled from as far away as Hawaii for a chance to play. The boys went 6-0 undefeated in seeding rounds and finished with an overall record of 7 wins and 1 loss. Having the opportunity to play on Thursday the last day of the tournament with a chance to win it all was amazing.

Congratulations to the boys for all their hard work finishing 10th overall out of 104 teams.

Congratulations to the Chiefs 11u (top photo) and Chiefs 10u (bottom photo) travel baseball teams on winning the championships during this past summer season. Both teams played extremely well and deserved to bring home the trophies. Good luck to the 11u team as they prepare for their trip to Cooperstown next summer. Good luck to 10u on moving up to the big fields in the fall.
