CYA FALL FIELD MAINTENANCE
CYA FALL FIELD MAINTENANCE DAY NOVEMBER 7TH - 9:00 AM.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO CLOSE DOWN THE FIELDS FOR THE WINTER. PLEASE COME DOWN ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 7TH TO HELP WINTERIZE THE FIELDS.
WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET!
2010 SPRING BASEBALL & GIRLS SOFTBALL REGISTRATION
Please come down to the CYA complex on any Wednesday from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM and register your child.
We are pleased to announce that the CYA has teamed up with other local baseball organizations and will be offering the SENIOR Division the opportunity to play inter-league games. Games will be played at the CYA complex and other local sport complexes. This was a huge success last year.

CONNETQUOT CHIEFS 8U TRAVEL TEAM COMPLETES SUCCESSFUL FALL SEASON
Congratulations to the Connetquot Chiefs 8U travel baseball team on a very successful Fall 2009 season. The 8U Chiefs compiled a 6-1 record to finish in 2nd place. The Chiefs showed off their offense by scoring a total of 83 runs. Their pitching and defensive abilities were just as good as they allowed only 5 runs all season! Great job Chiefs!

CONNETQUOT CHIEFS 10U GIRLS SOFTBALL
CHIEFS 10U SOFTBALL TAKE 2ND PLACE AT COLUMBUS DAY TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to the Connetquot Chiefs 10U Fastpitch Softball Team for once again having a great weekend. For the second tournament in a row, the Chiefs made it to the Championship game and played well. The Chiefs took this past weekend to show Nassau County teams what Suffolk has to offer, and demonstrated quality softball skills as well as sportsmanship at its finest. This team is something to make the organization and the Connetquot School District very proud. The girls drew compliments from every team they played, the coaches, the tournament directors, and the Bruce Gary family, which this tournament was named after. Bruce Gary was one of America's heroes that was taken from us on 9/11. The Chiefs look forward to supporting this tournament next year and chasing the title once again. Please continue to congratulate the girls around the complex when you see them. This is a season to remember for them. The Chiefs will finish out their fall season just prior to their fifth and final tournament of the year. The Chiefs will be playing in a benefit tournament on Veteran's Day. Once again, GO CHIEFS!!!
